    So don't have your kid wear OSU stuff? I'm sure that's all it is.  I promise you that he'd probably see the same number of kids wearing OSU stuff that day as he would've had it not been named an official OSU day.  Is this really THAT big of a deal?  Schools do anything to get spirit up in a variety of ways.  If only people were as fired up about the lack of funding in our school systems and the dysfunctional educational system, especially in Ohio, maybe things would change.

    And yet you started a new thread complaining about your kid's school having an OSU day...
    Yeah, but we're only taking this so seriously...You asked if it is really THAT big of a deal.I say, no it is not.Kind of a Gee Wiz thing..you know. I'm not upset about it..Merry Christmas!

    My son brought home a note from his teacher today that Monday, January 8 is OSU Day!!!Here's what the note said:"Students may wear their scarlet and gray to cheer on OUR Buckeyes."How nice. :puke: Instead of scarlet and gray, he will be wearing his Fear the Roo Zips gear!And that's HIS choice, not mine. :thumb:

    I heard another commercial today on WONE, this one for the Loyola Marymount game. (Yes, it did have that gay little 'Fear the Roo' jingle at the end -- Can we get rid of that?)
    Haven't heard the jingle yet.Can't wait.Going to the game with five buddies tonight.the class of '81 will be well represented!Go Zippers :rock::rock:
