Attendance is a driver of performance (players) just as performance is a driver of attendance (fans).... All depending on who's eye's are viewing it Football is mental game as well. Don't underestimate the attendance factor in performance, recruiting, team moral etc. That dude on the mic chanting "Let's go Zips" is not getting it done for the team (not his fault at all). It was way embarrassing in the Pitt game when he started that and the overwhelming sound of "Let's go Pitt" drowned out any chants for the home team ...... only my shallow opinion

Completely agreed ..... And I won't mention players names, but at breakfast last Sunday, attendance was a topic of conversation. And not in a positive way Only positive statement was ......... "Well it was easy to find you Dad"

Hell maybe UA should consider going to the corners at Buchtel, Spicer ETC, and grab those homeless folks, buy em a beer and a hot dog and let them watch the game LOL . Doesn't add to the sales numbers, but at least the butts would be in the seats and it would look like more attendance............... Just sayin Any programs with the local schools, churches, ETC ? In a word folks ...... DISCIPLINE !!!!! It will be difficult to defeat anyone else the rest of the way if we continue to give up ridiculous 15 yd personal foul penalties. Especially in some of the yardage situations ....... Defense has to be able to get themselves off the field in the third and long situations. I would certainly consider our defense "legit" with talent ...... But rec league in discipline 37 in NCAA in penalties per game and 34th in penalty yards ..... Watched the game this morning on YouTube 1. Offensive line was completely overwhelmed by the OU front seven ..... Thank goodness that we will see nothing like this the remainder of the year 2. Totally frustrated by the terrible accuracy of BOTH QB's. Embarrassing 3. Our starting defense is for real, need that depth to develop to give quality rest time. There was some broken coverages, but once OU got that O cranked up, it sucked all of the gas out of the tank. Any concern I have is in the middle of the field. Watch the film, put the ball in Pohl's hand so he can get a rythm, take our $1 million (that's the number I heard ) and get ready for Pitt Looks like we came out of the game with minimal injuries !! Which is a victory Beat Pitt !!!
