These announcers are the worst. After Eastern Michigan took 3 straight time outs to stop the clock, he indicated they had all 3 timeouts several times. But that is what you get when you have our record. The worst announcers for the worst teams.

Cuffler looks good when he has time and has open receivers. He has thrown some really nice passes. The last one was a great catch by Gathings. Glad he ran off the field before he could say anything!!

Our center got hurt and is now back in.

Giving up a score right before the half and getting penalties that keep the opposing team's drive alive is what we do best.

If he is 8 credits short of graduating and this is his 2nd transfer and you have to sit a year on your 2nd transfer unless you are a graduate transfer, can anyone explain what they are arguing to the NCAA that he should not sit until after he graduates?

Last year I was not that impressed with Lyles. He always seemed a step slow for a big man. However, he was a frosh so there is a great deal of room for improvement. However, I think if he had improved a great deal that we would see him on the floor more. I am sure you will see him on Tuesday. Also, if one of our bigs gets injured he will be next man up. However, if Ali joins the mix he may find it even more difficult to find playing time.

Not whining and not bitter. Just stating my opinion. I am a long time season ticket holder and have probably watched 50 of these games against division 2 or 3 teams especially under KD. My preference as a fan is to watch better competition than Heidelberg. If you disagree, so be it. With regard to scheduling, Groce is a great coach and obviously feels like this matchup helps the team. As stated in my post, I just don't know how a team progresses when the level of competition is far below what you will be facing the following week.

I disagree. Tavari did not shoot the ball well going 1 of 5 but in 20 minutes against a high pressure defense that forces a lot of turnovers he had 0 turnovers. He also had 2 assists 3 rebounds and 2 steals. I believe he sees the court better than any of our guards and can find the open man. He will remain the point guard with those stats and I believe his shooting will improve based upon his stats from last year.

As a fan, are you looking forward to this game? As a season ticket holder, is this game worth $30? How many times have we played a weak team and played down to the level of competition? How many on this board wish the football team was playing Heidelberg?

I like to see Nate Johnson shooting 15 foot jumpers off the dribble. He gets great height on his jumper and fades away from the basket. Very difficult to defend. They tripple teams Freeman in the first half and he passed to the open wing but we could not hit a 3 pointer in the beginning of the game. We did not score in the first 5 minutes. Great game. We follow this up with Heidelberg? Rediculous!!!

I thought the offensive foul on Kent was a flop by the JMU player but it worked. The Kent player should have been smarter and not touched the JMU player.

All they had to do was throw the ball into play and have a Kent player touch the ball. Not brain science.

This time Kent scores 5 points in 2 seconds to send the game to a 2nd overtime. Both teams have choked a win.

Madison just scored 5 points in 4 seconds to tie the game as time ran out. What a choke by Kent!!!

The refs. When the Zips punted and it was muffed there was a mad scramble for the ball and the Zips recovered. After the play the refs had an animated discussion for 5 minutes trying to decide what to do and they finally indicated that the Zips had been holding prior to the muff and they had to rekick which negated the fumble recovery and then Jomo jumped up and down yelling and screaming at the refs for 5 minutes.

This game just sums up the season. Terrible play calling in short yardage situations, the obligatory Cuff interception, stupid penalty that prolongs a drive or negates a fumble recovery, defense playing well enough to win but the offense sucks so bad that give it up. And we keep wondering why Lindgard does not get the ball more.

Can we hire the color guy as our offensive coordinator?

We saw the same stuff last week. Third and one and he passes the ball. Give it to Lindard to keep the drive going. Then we get stuffed in the backfield on 4th down. Just stupid coaching.

I cannot tell you how many times he has let the ball bounce and we have lost yards. Now he catches the ball and we lost yards. We cannot win.

That first drive until the interception might be our offensive highlight.

I just don't understand why Cuff does not get rid of the ball to LIngard as soon as he sees the blitz. Stop trying to throw the ball down field and get rid of it to play another down and Lindgard can make something happen out of the backfield.

I read an article that indicated it all about TV money and TV ratings. Apparently there was going to be a competing tournament featuring Power Conference teams and the NCAA was afraid that people would watch that tourney with the better teams. It sucks!!!!
