Ya what the hell is with some of the losers on bbs? Talk about bitter fans. We are supposed to support other schools when they are kicking us in the face while we are at our lowest point? What happened to us WILL happen to them at some point, and they don't realize that. Keith Dambrot has lost faith in this conference and so have I.

If they want to burn brackets let them do it. A lot of people think that no one cares about the zips, but it can't hurt showing that there are passionate fans for this program. The players are hurting right now, and something like this shows the players that they are fighting for them even though it may not do much in terms of getting us bids.Oh and here is another idea: Burn the MAC logo too.

That is scary stuff... God please don't let this happen. The University needs to do something to raise this guy's morale. Maybe a monetary reward for the 26 wins? To think one lucky shot can lead to this mess.

Again, we are reminded after a tough weekend that there is hope for Akron athletics.

Hell we stayed with the #7 team in the country or whatever they are ranked now.

Dambrot deserves a new contract after putting up with this garbage the last 24 hours. Seriously, they guy could probably use a lift right about now, and the U would send a message that it has his back.

Okay then we should just sit back and act like nothing happened. Actually nothing did happen lol we did not make the postseason. Then what's the point of fielding athletic teams then if we have nothing to play for??

Proenza was at the Q and don't think he will not notice what is going on. Hopefully Mack notices too and is prepared to stand up for this program. He needs to be our voice.

Did you all notice that they spent more time talking about Akron then OSU, Cavaliers, or the rest of the tournament outlook?

It went from being one of the greatest weekends to be a zip to hell just because of one luck desperat ass shot.

What can the fans do? Somebody is to blame, and I want answers? Is KD too stubborn with the scheduling? Is our AD doing nothing? Is it the MAC office? The athletic department lives and dies under ticket sales. We need to send a message here.

The AD needs to step in and get control of this immediately. I want an explanation!!!!!!!! I am a student who pays tuition damn it!!!!

Mack Rhodes better get off his ass and put together some legit schedules in football or basketball or else we the fans should start writing to the University administration. This is absolutely pathetic.

I disagree. But, I will say one thing we can agree on - If we continue to lose these games, the JAR will never, ever fill up. We can't really rip on attendance because our hearts have been broken for the second straight year. We have been upset two years in a row in the tournament. Even the hardiest of fans start to get weary. I could have stomached a loss to Can't in the finals last year because that team was clearly the best in the MAC, but this should have been our year.

Wow what a joke. They did not even have the decency to play them closer to the region. MAC basketball really sucks.

What's funny is I am usually one who will not get excited until the last seconds of the game. Well I let my guard down and started rushing to the tunnel, and of course it turned out much progressed in my absence. Boy did I feel like an idiot. Therefore, I refuse to watch the selection show and get my hopes up like that again.

We talk about fan support but I'm sorry to say that we're going to see the same apathy because no matter how well we do next year during the season we'll always get, "Well they'll lose in the tournament". It's going to take a championship and a lot more wins to get interest back.

What did Romeo really do last night besides miss his share of free throws? Joyce was nonexistent this entire tournament. Wood was the only one who got anything done offensively, and that is what killed us. Once he got tired we were done. The same thing that killed us in our regular season losses was that we could not score in crunch time. One thing we need to do now is recruit recruit recruit. It's nice that we have guys that play hard, but I want to see a little more raw talent and athleticism on this team. No more guys like Rybak. Linhart and Milum are just average players at best. We need a rotation of 10 solid guys like Can't has. I do think the recruiting class coming in is going to help. If we keep bringing in classes like that I would not be too concerned.

I personally prefer basketball over football, but I think football is just what we need to forget about this.
