Here is a question as to why we lost this game? Did Can't emotionally and physically wear us out? Were we doomed from the start by ending up on the same side of the bracket as them? I say maybe. I did not want Can't in the semis from the very beginning win or lose. I bet the outcome would be different if the dildos did not have the luxury of beating up on a sorry west conference.

Really this conference is a piece of shit. One bid year after year. Piss poor scheduling. Jokes of game officials...........it goes on

I can't even stomach talking about next year. It's going to take a year plus a football championship and a stadium announcement to heal this one.

This is how it all happened for me.It turns out Miami fouls and Cedric goes to the line to ice the game with 6 seconds to go. As soon as that happens, we begin our mad dash to the exits to get ready to celebrate with our guys. Authorities are yelling at us to slow down, but at that point who cared? Then I hear the crowd go nuts, and I'm like this is it! I get to the tunnel and see a sea of red on the court and a bunch of Rowdies standing there like they are at a funeral. That's where it all began for me. What an emotional swing. I did not even see the play because I was making my way to the tunnel!! I had no flippin clue what happened! So I feel for the team especially and all of zipsnation. We had this one but came up short.... I'm not sure where we go from here.

Disgusted.......just completely disgusted. "We were tired", said KD. What about Miami????????????????????????????????!!!!!!!! I just don't even know what to think at this point.

I believe I witnessed the best of this basketball team and from the fans. Big Big kudos to the Rowdie leadership who kept the students in the game. Big kudos to the seniors on the team. For what I hear, Romeo put his foot down at halftime. We showed out Can't state in every way that can be. Jeremiah Wood everybody...OMGHow sweet it was walking out of the Q rubbing it in the miserable Can't fans faces. It was great high fiving fellow zips fans. I almost think the Akron fans should stay for the Can't game to try to help out Western a bit. Make not mistake, we do not want to see Can't!!

Ya I did not want to see that lopsided of a game. Although we really do not deserve to be MAC champs if we cannot beat CMU.

Cursing like that in a public place where there are a lot of youngsters around crosses the line. Personally, I love it that they hate us that much. The feeling is mutual. The F you chants do not offend me but there are so many other things they can fire at us without throwing the F bomb 50 times. It shows a lack of creativity on their part.

Well it appears Toledo has our number in Cleveland.

The Rowdies are more witty in their chants while Can't's are just dumb and classless. I would have just laughed if I were an Akron player.

We put our hands into their fate by losing to Nevada, Arkansas Little Rock, and UIC. We already know we must win the tournament to get to the dance. I'm not complaining. We had our chances but it didn't happen. Lets get it done in Cleveland. We have a team capable of doing it. I could care less about RPI, rankings, or whatever.

It seemed to me like on a couple of occasions they were looking to bury the "dagger shot" from behind the arc. As ill-advised as the shots may have been, I kind of liked the cajones that it took to put them up. I like the fact that we are going for the kill, but when it's not working and the shots are not falling, just make a simple basket.

Some preliminary thoughts going into the tourney1.) First and foremost we must think about CMU/Buffalo. I would think that Buffalo would probably prevail in this one leaving us to take care of the Bulls. I like Buffalo. They've always brought a lot of students to the Q. It should be fun, but they can be dangerous.2.) Granted we live to fight another day, then we must worry about the Can't/Western winner. I for one do not want to see Can't again till next year. They have a niche for the tournament, and beating Christian's squad three times in one season is a tall task, not that we are not capable. I would be fine with seeing western in the semi's.3.) Our depth... I will point out that this team played one of the deepest teams in the conference and beat them twice already this year. We survived overtime at Can't with even Joyce on the bench. These guys can go the distance, but I'm not so sure that we can withstand three barn burner games. We need to put our quarterfinal opponent away early and try to get some the lesser played guys in there.4.) Our composure.....we did seem to panic in Can't when they got on their run. There were some flat out ill advised shooting and stupid turnovers going on. We were not playing our game for a period of time. We need to learn to slow it down in the end if we are up and stop forcing things. It seems like we hit a few threes and then we became trigger happy. Just take good shots.

Unbelievable anybody in northeastern Ohio would boo Lebron. He is Cleveland's best shot at a championship. Anyway, going back to topic, Can't State has a bush league message board on MAC bbs. That is their main forum. Nothing like the zipnation.

Can't State and their fans are a joke. They do not deserve all the success they have enjoyed for so long. I'd rather be a zip any day.
