You're making a classic mistake of modern day sports fandom, which is using stats to make a meaningless point. I used my eyes to watch the game. What I saw were smaller players, slower on plays, less capable of throwing accurate passes down field less able to break up passes down field, less able to compete at the line of scrimmage, ets.
If you are slower, less physically able, less intellectually able (mental talent is as impressive physically talent), you are going to lose, a lot.
Everyone, please spare me you nonsensical stats. Facts aren't reasons. If you want less intelligent sports analysis, go to a stats page.
