It's starting to look more and more like it is owned by a criminal organization.Personally, I watch CNN. I know it leans liberal and that doesn't bother me because I know what it is. At least it isn't FOX or MSNBC. The NBC news with Brian Williams is real good if I'm home at 6:30. I'll also watch Morning Joe because Meka (sp?) is such a MILF.

Boring is one thing. A head full of skin cancer scabs is another. Skin cancer + Sarah Panlin = Possibility of Palin becoming President if McCain died. Am I the only person who thought of that last election? Tell the truth... The guy should have never been nominated.

I only have one issue. They need to get back to providing basic government services and doing the basic job of government well. For example, recent studies show 1/3 of all bridges in the US are in disrepair. I drive a lot for a living. One in three bridges I drive over are in disrepair. That is a worry. One in three bridges you drive over with your family are in disrepair. Want to put people back to work? Fix the basic things that are broken. Don't build more until we fix what we currently have.

I agree. Obama is currently losing to the generic Republican by 8%. Believe me, when the generic becomes real, that number will turn quickly. Obama is so easy to beat is isn't even funny, yet the Republicans won't be able to do it.There was a good article written recently about how FOX News has destroyed the Republican Party. Great read. FOX basically puts lunatics on the air and because they are on the air all the time, they become normal to the viewers. There was once a time when people like Hannity and Bill O' would have been laughed off the air by Republicans. Palin is alive today because FOX kept her alive. Bachmann is alive today because FOX kept her alive. Newt is alive today because FOX kept him alive. There is a list as long as your arm of fools who are kept alive by FOX News.

The voters are the biggest danger to this country. Obama didn't just walk up and claim the job, he was voted in office. Had the Republicans not run a babbling idiot with moron for a running mate in the last election, Obama would not be president right now.

I respectfully disagree. The Tea Party is a fleeting group that will run its course here in the next couple of years. The Tea Party is more like the nuts in the Constitution Party. They also talk a lot about the ideas of the founding fathers, yet they have no idea what the founding fathers stood for. Case in point. A couple of weeks ago, Bachman said the founding fathers worked tirelessly to end slavery. That was complete rubbish and a lack of understanding of history. This woman is a fool.Last week, Bachmann signed a pledge that basically said black people were better off during slave times because families were kept in tact. First of all, it is NEVER ok to be a slave. Secondly, here is where the lack of understanding history comes in, slave families were frequently broken up by sale of the youth to other slave owners. Bachmann is absolutely nuts and a racist. I almost never call someone a racist because I think it is a cheap shot and overused, but in this case, Bachmann is a racist.

Maybe I'm as drunk as you were when you wrote this (I'm really drunk right now), but this post is complete gibberish. Watch out for those black helicopters!!!!!!You have been made a fool of by tOSU BuckZip. That pill must be pretty hard to swallow. Poop happens.Tressel was a con man. Con men are successful not because they are good at running a con. They are good because people want to believe the con. (Don't let your kids read any further). A first or second grade kid knows it is impossible for a person to fly around the world and deliver toys to the entire world in one night, but they believe. They believe because they want to believe. tOSU fans wanted to believe the "God and family" nonsense Tressel was spewing. BuckZip was sucked in to it because he wanted to be sucked in. In defense of BuckZip, almost an entire state was sucked in. Now, they are lining up for an even bigger con man than Tressel....Urban Meyer (sp?). The guy had multiple problems in his short time at Florida, but he is the great white hope many from Ohio want to see. In reality, tOSU fans don't care if there are problems as long as the team wins. They will look past anything. That's fine, but they try to hold themselves above all other fans....In fact, they are worse.I'm not ashamed of believing in Santa when I was young. tOSU fans shouldn't feel guilty in believing in Tressel. He was the ultimate con man. Unfortunately, they aren't six years old....well, they believed in Tressel like they were six years old. tOSU fans must feel really stupid right now. They should. -
I'm sure most of her followers would say "You need to stop being an intellectual elitist!"Do you mean "stupid"?

GP1, if you had half the balls she has ... why ... you'd actually have some creds on this board. If having balls means being a complete fool, nobody needs balls. This woman is as dumb as a dried up bag of leaves. She is married to someone even more stupid with homophobic and racist ideas. No thanks. Birds of a feather flock together. If you want to support that, then I guess it is a free country. I guess you are one of them. I take pride in knowing a fool like you doesn't share my ideas. There was a time in American history when someone with her ideas would have been laughed away. Because of FOX News, her ideas are taken seriously. This woman is a danger to this country. There was a time in this country when William F. Buckley was the head of the conservative movement in the US. Today, it is Rush Limbaugh and Michelle Bachmann. We are doomed.

As long as we are talking politics, this lady could actually win the Republican nomination. The last three seconds are cringeworthy.

The French try to cut back executive power. We should be looking at the same type of reforms here. Three equal branches of government, not one and those other two.

I saw JH one time at a Pens game in the old arena in the Igloo Club. Between periods, he signed autographs and took photos with anyone who asked. Talked to the people too and was very nice. Not the guy in the magazine article.

LOL? OMG, BZ!? ROTFLMAO! +1Three of the top five or six of the college football talking heads on ESPN are OSU graduates and played there. For years, they have done nothing but pump up that program. Now that OSU has been caught with their hand in the cookie jar, ESPN is now a bad network out to get OSU. It's stupid beyond belief to believe that. -
There is no such thing as common sense. If there was a common sense, people would know the difference between a celebrity making $60 million for a movie and a college athlete making a few hundred dollars.

The Constitution requires 2/3 majority for treaties. FT skirts that requirement. It is an example of people believing something is true regardless of whether or not it is true. It doesn't have to be real, it just has to be believed to be real. It's sort of like how West Virginia became a state. WV became a state by the presidential decree of President Lincoln. A presidential decree is not one of the methods of becoming a state defined by the Constitution, yet everyone believes WV is a state. As a point of law, it isn't. After the Civil War, WV should have become part of VA again and we should have 49 states. It would have been a minor issue back then, unnoticed in today's world. I stayed the night one time in Charleston, WV and WV Public TV had a half hour special where they talked to a guy who wrote a book about this issue. He was a professor at WVU or Marshall or somewhere in WV.

Obama isn't evil. He is actually a nice guy who is in over his head. He is a guy who came from humble beginnings and became the President of the United States. Whether or not you agree with his politics, that is the American dream. When Obama makes decisions and claims executive power, he is doing nothing more than what a long line of presidents have done since WWII. NAFTA was put on a fast track. It was completely against the Constitution. That was far worse than anything Obama has done. There was a time in this country when the legislative branch was the strongest branch of government. We need to get back to those days. It has nothing to do with Obama and everything to do with the citizens of this country not focusing on the real problems and taking responsibility for this country.Obama is an arm of corporate America and for the rich. Look at how well the stock market and the highest earners have done since he took office. Look at everyone else. Anyone who thinks Obama is anti-business can't read the NYSE ticker or pick up a WSJ and read it. The Dow is up 9.5% YTD and companies are making money hand over fist. Companies aren't spending money because there is nobody buying anything because our country is basically in bankruptcy as a result of our behavior over the past 40+ years. Obama has only been president for less than one term. He didn't cause these problems. Rush Limbaugh Republicans want to believe he is anti-business, but as a point of fact, it is the other way around. Rush Limbaugh Republicans are angry in a way I am not interested in being. As far as gay unions, abortions and any other issue that is really secondary to the problems facing America, I could care less where he stands. We have almost 10% unemployment and anyone who is worried about social issues right now doesn't understand the real problems facing America. We are a country of fools.

It's only logical to think that if you are certain they won't be punished as bas as people think, then you must know how bad they are going to be punished. I'd just like to know what you know. I don't believe any of the death penality stuff, but it's going to be bad. Already lost the #1 player in Ohio to Michigan and the punishment has not been handed out yet. Interesting days ahead. -
Is it really shocking this would happen to a professional athlete?

Please give us your prediction on how bad you think they will be punished. That way, if you are wrong, we can all laugh at you. -
I don't care if he is "classy" as Freddy Blassie or not. I do care about how he plays football though. There are very, very, very few teams who wouldn't have him on their team.

I'm living evidence that with diet, exercise and saying your prayers, a miraculous comeback can be made after a twisted ankle. I once twisted my ankle getting off of a barstool at the Townhouse. Through prayer, exercise, the loving support of family/friends and a lot of good luck, I was right back on the barstool by the next Friday. Through the grace of God it can be done. Get well soon Blake. We'll be praying for you.

Good thought process here. The taller, longer and more athletic guy can't get his steals without a guy like AA. "A Bad Decision" is Chapter 2 in the turnover story. "Applying Pressure" is Chapter 1. When there is no pressure, decisions are easy. Apply some pressure and they are much more difficult....I don't care what sport it is.I'd take bring the ball up the court against a pesky little guy over a long-armed, athletic guy any day of the week. As a guard, passing the ball against a guy with a 6' 9" wingspan sucks.I see your point, but it is the MAC and guards are dying to make a bad decision each time they touch the ball. MAC games are more often than not lost and not won. Good pressure, maybe not great pressure, can be enough to throw them off. If the Zips are going to turn up the heat and score more points, there is nothing more fun to watch than a tall guy getting a steal and an exciting dunk at the other end. Michael Jordan was great at this and Bulls fans had a ton of fun watching him play.Either way is fine with me. I like the idea of KD turning up the heat and the possibility of making the games more exciting. This style of play will bring more people to the games if the Zips continue to win. Everyday fans want to see scoring and dunks. Too many MAC games involve a guard dribbling down...picking up his dribble...fake right...fake left...throw the ball out of bounds or a deflection out of bounds . I said last year the Zips have become "interesting" in thread I started asking for a one word description of the season. This style of basketball will make them even more interesting.

Good point. I've noticed watching college basketball that the full court pressing has given way to good man to man defense with well placed spacing of defenders not on the ball. I can't even remember the last time I saw a team play a full court press even when they are behind late in a game. This generates a lot of turnovers. If the Zips can develop a good open court thief, a lot of points can be scored. Q needs to be that guy as that guy is normally tall with abnormally long arms and very athletic.
