    Our road to solidifying a bowl game starts tonight. We need Texas Tech to beat Texas to eliminate the Longhorns. That would leave 17 teams for the 9 remaining spots. Six more can be eliminated tomorrow (Georgia State, Missouri, Washington, Nebraska, San Jose, and Tulsa). PS. A win tomorrow would certainly help too.

    I'm seeing 71 bowl eligible teams, 13 teams at 5-6, five 4-6 teams (San Jose State is at Hawaii right now and up 14-0 early; they would move to 5-6), and 39 teams with 7 or more losses (ineligible). So, 9 open spots left and 18 teams with a chance to fill them. Once those are filled, we worry about whether we get in or not.

    I know which one is shock the world, but is it soccer or football that would go unnoticed by non-Akron fans?

    I like that they played 110 minutes. Gives us an even bigger advantage with the bye.

    It is not sold out, but I don't know if you can buy tickets from the Akron ticket office, it may be only online or through Can't State.

    I believe it will rotate every year between the four schools. So 1 out of every 4 years it will be at the Wolstein center. Haha.

    I saw two different electronic billboards on freeways, in the week leading up to the UCLA game.

    Much better than it did before. I think it may be a shade too dark though. But it looks good.

    6-6 will almost certainly get us in just because the large number of bowl games available.

    If we could appeal and have him play the UCLA game, then drop the appeal and allow him to serve the suspension against BG, that would be good. Then the yellow cards can reset for the tournaments.

    One of those wins and the draw were exhibition matches. They're 1-4 overall.
