Yes, Simmons only had 4 fouls. The board was wrong. But the refs were still pretty awful. Sitting courtside we had our fair share of words and comments towards them. Two of them (the worst two) carried themselves way too seriously, but the other one (who actually officiated a decent game) actually had a sense of humor and would joke with us. Wish more refs would be like that. Central's lack of depth is astounding. They only played 8 and had guys go 39, 38, 36, and 32. Surprised they still had the legs to shoot there at the end.

Man why is it so dead around here? We're 19-4 and the thread for a big game like this is only at 2 pages? But anyways, fun game tonight. Good atmosphere and lots of interesting game trends. That antino barrage in the first half and that huge run in the second were about as fun as hoops get. Central's tough and i expect them to be right there around the top of the mac for the rest of the way. And one more side note, what the heck has happened to Pat? He has been invisible for a while now and that play where he was wide upon under the rim but passed it out was one of the strangest I've ever seen.

Holy cow...a quick trip over to BobcatAttack showed some of them complaining about the fact that Big Dog was able to easily back them down in the post and that it's unfair and shouldn't be allowed because it's too hard to defend. Gotta love MAC basketball fans.

I agree. No matter the state of the teams the Can't games, especially on the road, will be tough. I had this game marked before the season but with centrals struggles it lost some luster. Now that they seem to have hit a groove, I'm back to thinking this may be our most important game.

Ehh, maybe. They don't really have any great wins and have a bad loss to Arkansas state. They'd certainly need to win out i think

Was just about to say that....he has matured a ton since around the start of conference play. Man, could we ask for a better point guard situation? I am feeling REALLY good about this team right now. They're starting to have the same feel as those 06-07 and 12-13 teams.

Officiating was very different than we're used to seeing from mac refs. Normally each and every game is a whistle fest but this one was almost the polar opposite. While it's nice to see the game flow a little bit more i honestly felt that there were a few head scratchers as far as no-calls.
