Captain Kangaroo
Maybe he is to me what Charlie Frye is to GP1? Could be.Time to move on...my goal now is to make Boo Jackson PM GP1.Charlie Frye? How many Championships did Frye win at UofA? The career LeFevour has has at CMU dwarfs what Frye did at UofA.Stick LeFevour with Lee Owens...with Jesse Smith as his defense's #2 cornerback for four years...it's a wash. Let's see how Dan finishes the season. He should have one more chance to get a win over a 6-6 BCS school. And, as expected, Thunder Dan lost...again...to BC 31-10.CMU scored a TD with 35 seconds remaining to pull within 21-points of the now 6-3 Golden Eagles. One career win vs. a BCS school for this MAC legend. Look for a big loss in the upcoming Little Cesar's Pizza Pizza Bowl. But he has a big poster. That, no one can deny.

Dr Z
Dan tries to build on senior bowl performance, may not throw at combine. At the Senior Bowl, LeFevour completed 5 of 10 passes for 97 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for a 1-yard TD in earning the North Offensive MVP honors.
vmd9
all rumors out of Cleveland say the Browns want to draft this a$$...As much as I love my Browns and usually support every move they make, this one might be too much. Since Couch, Frye, and Quinn were all flops, might as well make it 0-4 right? My biggest hope is that Pittsburgh takes him in the 3rd or 4th round. Something tells me they might be in need of a quarterback soon. I guess something about their qb is in some hot water? hahahahaha I mean haven't people been calling him the next Rothlisberger for years? Dr Z
My biggest hope is that Pittsburgh takes him in the 3rd or 4th round. He'll be gone by the time the Steelers would entertain the thought of taking a QB. Steeler's have Dixon. Remember he almost beat the Ravens if it weren't for poor coaching last year. They have bigger needs than QB in the first 4 picks. If my NFL team needed a QB, I would be ecstatic to get Dan in the 4th round. If Batch doesn't return, they may take a late rounder on a QB, but I doubt it.
Dr Z
Bluto, thinks the Browns may take Dan in the 2nd or 3rd round. Bluto may have relapsed back into his addiction also, hard to tell? One day at a time brother. Q: Do you think the Browns will draft a quarterback? A: Definitely, perhaps as high as the second round. If not, then they'll use one of their three third-round picks on a quarterback. When he was in Philadelphia, current Browns General Manager Tom Heckert picked quarterback Kevin Kolb out of Houston with the second-round pick in 2007. Heckert targeted the guy, and took Kolb even though Donovan McNabb was clearly the starter. This makes me believe the Browns have their eye on a Kolb-type player in this draft. Q: Like who? A: The four quarterbacks expected to be taken in the second and third rounds are Colt McCoy (Texas), Dan LeFevour (Central Michigan), Tony Pike (Cincinnati) and Tim Tebow (Florida). At least one of these guys intrigues the Browns. Maybe they think Tebow can surprise his critics and develop into a solid pro despite his unorthodox throwing style. Or perhaps they really like McCoy or LeFevour.
vmd9
The more I think about it maybe I misunderstood sites that predict LeFever going to Cleveland. I actually remembered that the Cleveland Gladiators are still around. He would do very well for them! He could be the next Maurice Clarett of the Arena league. Good luck Lefever if the AFL doesn't work out you can always try the UFL or something...
vmd9
Well LeFever keeps dropping in this draft...so funny Round 6 (181) to the Bears had about 10 QB's picked before him...guess he wasn't all that great. How lucky to be able to play for the team you grew up watching. I expect him to compete for Cutler's starting position within a couple years, especially if Cutler has a year like he did last year. MDZip
Only five MAC players were drafted over the entire 7 rounds, none higher than the third round. I think that tells you a little that this was a down year in the MAC. The biggest surprise to me was that no one took a chance on Freddie Barnes out of BGSU. He'll hook on somewhere as an UFA, and I'll bet he sticks with some team. Pretty tough to set an NCAA record, even out of the MAC, and not have some talent backing it up. GP1
No Buckeye in the top 100 picks this weekend? An interesting thing about Buckeye/Big Ten fans is they always tell you how many NFL players are from the Big Ten, but they never mention they rarely produce a big time difference maker. Most Big Ten players on NFL rosters are easily replaceable. One of the big names coming out of tOSU in the past ten years has been Bobby Carpenter. His NFL career can best be described as a joke. Although last year, he set an NFL record for jumping on piles after the play was over. You would have thought the guy was the greatest LB coming out of college in the past 50 years if you talked to Buckeye fans. For those of you who don't like tOSU, you had better get used to the ESPN hype machine pumping them next year. Their OOC schedule is a joke (no, Miami is a shell of a team they used to be and will get killed in Columbus). The Big Ten is a joke. tOSU will be in the National Championship game next season.
