Dr Z
I received a nice survey in the mail last week from the university and took the time to fill it out to the best of my ability. I would hope some of our members here took the opportunity to do the same thing. If for some reason you did not receive it and would like to help by providing good feedback to help create an enjoyable game day atmosphere, feel free to answer as many questions as you like in this thread. (I paraphrased some of the questions) I'm happy stuff like this is happening. I left off the 10 suit and club questions.Q1 Are you a season ticket holder?Q2 How many home games did you attend?Q3 How many away games did you attend?Q4 If you were unable to attend the game, how did you follow the game?Q5 How many years have you purchased season tickets?Q6 Which tailgating do you participate in, pre, post, varsity A, zipfest?Q7 Do you visit a local bar or restaurant before or after a game, how often?Q8 Where did you get your primary information about tickets from?Q9 How did you purchase your tickets?Q10 What type of ticket did you purchase, ga, family plan, reserved, priority, club, loge, suite?Q11 Would you change the location of your seating for this year?Q12 Do you think the cost of a ticket is too high, low, just right?Q13 If you purchased single game tickets in 09 will you get season tickets in 2010?Q14 Please select each category to which you belong, faculty, parent of student, z-fund member, alumniQ15 Rank the following factors according to how important they are in whether or not your choose to attend a game. Scale of 1 to 5, 1 is very important, 5 being not important. Day of game, time of game, weather, team performance, opponent, ticket price, parking location.Q16 How many hours ahead of kickoff did you arrive on campus?Q 17 Did you have a problem finding designated parking on campus?Q18 What parking did you utilize, z fund pass, purchase season pass $25, single game $5, RV $25, downtown and shuttle?Q19 Your wait in long before entering the stadium was, less than 5 minutes, 5-10, 10-20, over 20 minutes?Q20 Which gate did you enter?Q21 Finding your seat was, easy or hard?Q22 Were parking lot attendants, ticket takers, ushers and guest service employees helpful and knowledgeable?Q23 Where you satisfied with the price of food, quality of food, and get your order in a timely manner?Q24 Please provide any additional comments on your game day experience. xu9697
Q25 Were you offended that you, as a responsible middle class adult, were not able to buy beer, but those with more $$$ than you could?
g-mann17
Q26: Did you have problems finding Beer before or after the game or are you such a lush that you have to have it 24-7?
xu9697
Q26: Did you have problems finding Beer before or after the game or are you such a lush that you have to have it 24-7?Wow..you must sit in the club seats.
Zipmeister
Q26: Did you have problems finding Beer before or after the game or are you such a lush that you have to have it 24-7?Because this is a compound question it would not be very valuable as a survey component. A person could answer yes to the question because they had trouble located beer before or after the game even though he or she is not a lush while another person could answer the question yes because they are a lush, but had no problem in their pre and post game beer quest. It may be important to distinguish these two groups from lushes who had difficulty located suds.
zen
lol, there's nothing like (being a lush) and pounding beers before the game, then getting the dryup gitters while the product of the field fails to comfort you, only to need (being a lush) to drown your sorrows several hours later. ziptrumpet87
FYI, even though we only got one of the 3-pack deals, we got the same survey in the mail today, so apparently it's not just season ticket holders.
Dr Z
...apparently it's not just season ticket holders. What gave you that idea, the first question is "are you a season ticket holder"?

Hilltopper
Q4: ZipsNation.orgSame answer here. The only thing I really complained about was the food quality at the concession stands. Everything I had was very dried out and lacking any flavor. Very bare bones as far as condiments and dressings.
johnnyzip84
I finally received mine today. It's in the mail. I tried to rate "day of game" highly in order to let them know that I don't love weekday games. I also mentioned it in the comment section. I also commented on wanting to get in Lot 9 for parking (I was in Lot 4 last year, even though I had priority reserved seats).
jaycevs
What about the food service? I know we were told that the concessions would take credit cards as long as they were the permanent concessions. None did all season that I am aware of. This was an inconvenience. Besides that I thought game days were handled really well, even when there were bigger crowds.

The team shop is a different story, though.

Jake
I got the survey and I was happy to give my input. I am a club seat holder and I was for the most part pleased to say that I was very satisfied with my experience with parking and overall service. My only objection, and it is a strong one, is that the Akron City Police People were very rude, hostile and even tried to provoke a fight with several patrons. I have to say they didn't try it with me but I saw their behavior with other patrons who paid high prices for club, lodge and suite seats and these guys were loaded for bear. It was as if the APD wanted to make UA's efforts to have a nice stadium and atmosphere turn into a hostile environment. The APD was out to get people and to start fights.
