GP1
An Amish reference about LBJ in an ABJ story. That's my kind of story. I guess a big difference between LBJ and a shunned Amishman is LBJ went on to Miami making millions living in a beautiful city. A shunned Amishman moves on to making bad furniture and quilts for easily duped people in a backwoods town in Pennsylvania. Who would have thought LBJ would have so much in common with the Amish. Can you imagine the media storm in Amish country when Eli Yoder decides to move his quilt and woodworking shop from Holmes Co. to Tuscarawas Co.? The media circus could be called "Tidsexpondering". Unless Akron has an NBA team their talking about Cleveland vs Akron is irrelevant. Couldn't agree more...just lost me a lot of respect for those guys, even if they are LeBron's buddies. I cannot believe the Cavs' players were sitting there laughing it up with LeBron during free throws while down 30+ points. What a joke. If this were even 20 years ago, he would have got his a$$ knocked down a few times as a message from the organization. Pro sports suck these days. P.S. We gave these guys a free degree and they talk like that? Didn't they learn anything?
Valpo Zip
As much as I HATE to say it, I realized last night why LeBron left. What a freakin joke of a basketball team... About the "freakin joke of a basketball team": If you build a team around a center piece for seven years and than take out that center piece, the results will certainly be ugly. That being said, the CAVS are not as bad as they looked yesterday. Was that the first game you watched this year? They certainly are not contenders but they have a good chance to make the playoffs in their "DOWN" year. About the "freakin joke of a human being" He didn't leave because of the team. HE MADE that team. HE is the one who wanted Z resigned. HE is the one who wanted boobie resigned. HE is the one who wanted Shaq. HE is the one who wanted Jamison/Stoudamire without giving Hickson away...and he was 100% behind Mike Brown. Danny Ferry didn't lift a finger without consulting with him. Heck he even gave his buddy Romeo a summer contract when everybody knew he had 0% chance of making the team. Why did he leave? according to him, he did it for the kids and he will continue his greatness in Miami What a joke!
Buckzip
I wouldn't doubt that even some of his possie think he is an ass. However, he is their meal ticket and they will follow him no matter what he says. What a bunch of losers to be following around a piece of trash like that. Dr Z
I ended up at an Akron bar watching the Cavs/Heat game. About thirty or so 50+ year olds gathered to support LBJ on one side of the bar. Every time LBJ would score they would cheer. Nothing more than "yeah" and some clapping. My friend and I sat on the other side of the bar because it was the only table open. It was mostly 20 to 30ish year old Cleveland fans. If LBJ missed a shot they would start screaming "d*bag" "you s*ck" "eff you" etc. If he would make a shot "where was that in game 5" "I hope you die" "have a heat attack." One of the more sad and ignorant displays of human nature I have seen when it pertains to sports. Hatred is ugly.

zips4ever2008
I still love the Cavs. I actually believe the Cavs would have beaten the Celtics of this year. We'll never know since that jerk left to go chase his championship. I'm strongly cheering for someone to knock the Heat out and give that jerk and his group a few bumps and bruises. Since Boston let me down, Go Bulls!

The Heat's sense of entitlement keeps them from championshipI'm interested to see the Nielsen numbers broke down. I know the finals set seven year records. LBJ interests me, if he wasn't in the finals I probably wouldn't have watched. I'm wondering numbers between Cleveland, Dallas, and Miami markets. I'm interested in Cleveland market this year compared to the last years Cavs final playoff series. Edit: The game peaked with a 20.9 rating from 10:30-10:45 p.m. Eastern. Game 6 netted the highest-rated metered market rating ever for an NBA game in both markets (records through 2002-03) with a 39.8 in Dallas and a 36.2 in Miami. source Still dying to know Cleveland market.
