Mahaffey is the only guaranteed redshirt IMO. You can't redshirt Young and risk him leaving without any production in the Akron uniform. Brisco was previously a guaranteed redshirt candidate, but there's a chance he gets minutes with Okonkwo & Lyles. I don't know if MMK is as much of a 4/5 as Brisco seems to be. And even if he doesn't play "ahead of" Tavari (at least at first), he'll still get significant playing time. This team only has 2 true PGs - Tavari & Young. Now we have Seniors, Juniors and Freshmen only. In 2025-26 we have Seniors and Sophomores. 2026-27 Juniors only. 2027-28 Seniors only.
