Progress,How Do you Measure It?

One area where there has been clear progress is in the Zips' discipline to avoid silly penalties.

I will agree with you, Dave. We lost, we were doubled in yardage, etc, etc, etc. But we didn't look like clowns doing so. At least I watched a mildly competitive football game for almost 4 quarters. It's been a while since I could make that statement.

I'm renewing my season tickets to support the marching band - they're a fine group of students who work exceptionally hard, and show it every game on the field. I wonder if I can earmark my obligatory Z-Fund donation to be a marching band donation instead?

We have absolutely no chance to win 4 games this season.

K.e.n.t. is looking like a good chance at a win. Other than that, we're screwed. Buffalo might be close, but we'll be an underdog. Miami might overlook us...they have a history of doing that against MAC bottom-feeders. But there is no way this Zips team wins 3 games out of their remaining 6. Not after winning only 2 of Ianello's previous 18.

And - Ianello isn't going anywhere. He's here for the next 2 seasons even if he duplicates his Year #1 multiple times. A scenario that appears quite possible.

There is really only one way to make sure the above doesn't happen...everyone with season tickets must cancel them and not renew until a change is made. I've been trying to get friends, family and even strangers to have interest in the Zips since the early 80's. Sadly, I can't even get myself to a game anymore. In all seriousness, I'm not sure I would even go if I were given free tickets. I can't believe I'm even saying this, but I can't take it anymore. The football program has become a joke and it makes me sick! :puke:

buy Low...sell Hi.

I am actually trying to buy good seats if people don't want to renew. I BELIEVE the Zips will turn it around and would like to get a group a tickets while great seats are attainable.

After the renewal deadline next summer, they have a couple of days where you can go to the stadium and pick out your seats. They mark the available seats with a piece of paper. This year, many trees were killed to make that happen. Unless the Zips have a big turn around, I'm sure there will be plenty available.

I will be back in Bali by then. Maybe I can get someone to help me out. I will be donating the tickets I do have to some cause until I return.

Hell it would be easier, cheaper, and more green to mark the 200 or so seats that are not available!

We have absolutely no chance to win 4 games this season. K.e.n.t. is looking like a good chance at a win.
Ken+ ranks last in the 13-team conference in offense at just 170 yards per game, behind Akron's 301.

Ken+ is averaging just 94 passing yards, also last in the league; and is 12th in the league in rushing.

If we can't beat that.... :tomato:

Wow, looks like they found something of less value than toilet paper...

After seeing today's results, the Zips had better win at least 2 of the remaining six, minimum. Four teams just as bad as us and two others that aren't exactly playing like juggernauts. OU loses to Ball State (and Buffalo and barely beats Can't). Can't and Mami played the pillow fight of the week, 9-3. Buffalo loses 34-0 to Temple. EMU beat CMU, Western gets destroyed by NIU. The opportunity is there boys - take it!

You would almost think that you and JZ84 and I watched games together today. Sorry to duplicate your thoughts. We took the words out of each other's mouths.

Maybe EMU is not as bad as we thought?? Ohio will be interesting to say the least.
