Any leaks heard in ref to Rico's violation and how long that he may be suspended for??

Hopefully long enough for Deji to get some good playing time. He can only get better.

When did we change our goal from winning games to developing players? Do we also hope that Zeke gets suspended so that Josh gets more PT? :wall:

Great observation.

Alex will be suspended at least through the West Virginia game.

What ever he did or did not do is not our business unless it is a felony.

Of course not. But after getting a look at Deji, I am just not so worried about Wally Pipp I mean AA.

Wow, do we need Rico back. Q tried his best but he's just not a 1 guard. He's so much better playing off of the ball.

Q is 1/2 as effective a player at PG as he is on the wing. Having him handle the ball, when he should be cutting and slashing, negates his strengths.

Yeah, we need him to play PG because we have no one else. But opponents have to LOVE Q having to deal with breaking the press and distributing the ball rather than him pouring in 20 on a series of cuts and open-look 3's.

Like Brett McKnight last year, Abreu's indescretion wasted a player's (Ibitayo) much-needed redshirt season, and is costing us W's too. We are a VERY mortal team without AA at PG.

+1.

Man does Deji have good size, explosiveness & arms that reach to the ceiling, but he sure looked like a true freshman last night.

AA is definitely this team's QB. We didn't stand much of a chance without him.

AA just tweeted:

Immmmmmm BACK...!!

This is very good news.

+1.

But that tweet sounds awfully cocky and unremorseful for the pain his absence cost the team vs. WVU.

I wish his tweet read something more along the lines of, "I'm back and want to appologize to my teammates and fans for letting you down when you needed me most. I promise this will never happen again. Go Zips!"

+1 Hopefully he will say the right things later. But it would have been nice to see the apology as the first words.

Welcome back AA.

Anyone other than me sick of this Twitter bullshit?

It's a wonderful social media tool if used correctly. The Cleveland Indians are a perfect example.

Cleveland? OH GOD! THEY'RE ALL IN A CONSPIRACY AGAINST US AKRONITES!

HOW DARE YOU MENTION A PROFESSIONAL SPORTS TEAM FROM THE AREA!!!!
