I think this was a direct continuation of what we saw against VCU. VCU was a learning game with us finally getting our full roster back. This game we showed that we learned from that experience. You don't take out a guy with hot hand... KD finish the game with same players to close out that has failed in pass. At least I've never received a decent explanation for why he does that. If you know Chauncey, do us all a favor and ask him why. I know I'd like to know. If our highly successful coach would've substituted like some fans sitting on their couch on a fan message board said, we'd have won by 20 instead of 16. Some of you guys never cease to amaze me with your whining. Fantastic win in preparation for the MAC season. No joke and you do remember the same tactic didn't work against Valpo, Duquesne, and VCU. Ok maybe brilliant 1 out of three. Be for real...By the way I love KD as a person. I think we're going to need a Chauncey who is playing with confidence and momentum to make it through the meat grinder of the MAC East. Nic with 14 (it's such a relief to have the Serb back), Gilliam with 12, 3 others w/ 10 (neither Diggs nor Harney being one). This team is stacked. Go Zips! His moves don't always make sense to me at the time that they happen, but I still trust in them until he gives me a reason not to. If Dambrot wanted to, he could be at a BCS program by now. The next leading Zips rebounder was the Serb with 5 rebounds in 33 minutes. Tree had nearly 4 times as many rebounds per minute played as the Zips' second leading rebounder. Even more impressive, 8 of Tree's 9 rebounds were at the offensive end. Tree had 8 offensive rebounds in 15 minutes while all the other Zips players together had a total of 4 offensive rebounds in 185 minutes played. That's 8 missed shots where the Zips got a second opportunity thanks to Tree's rebounding. How good is Tree's rebounding so far in his rookie season? His offensive rebound percentage (an estimate of the percentage of available offensive rebounds a player grabbed while he was on the floor) is currently 17.5%. That ranks him 12th in the country among all DI players. Tree's national ranking in offensive rebound percentage is higher than Zeke's national ranking in block percentage.
