MDZip
This one still scares me a little, but with three big games following it, it is pretty much a must have. Crawford didn't play well against us last time, but Cameron Black did. While I think BGSU has a pretty good shot at upsetting Can't at the Stroh, I think we hold serve at the JAR. Zips 76 BGSU 67. Zipmeister
I'll split the difference and go with the Zips by 14.
johnnyzip84
Zips are currently 7 point favorites. BG has certainly improved over the course of the season. I'm expecting a battle, with the Zips depth once again prevailing behind big games from Chauncey and Q. Zips 69 Falcons
The Hip Zip
If I had a vote for MAC coach of the year and had to vote today, Louis Orr would probably get my vote . I think he gets just about all he can out of his team. The best word I can use to describe them would probably be "pesky". It's just tough to make them go away. Akron 65 BG 60 Todd K over at Toledo has to be another strong candidate for coach of the year. The improvement in the Rockets from Dec to Feb has been almost scary. It's tough for guys like Keith to win this award because so much is expected of us every year. I do think he deserves strong consideration for his work with this YOUNG team. I'd be curious to read other's opinions on coach of the years as well

Dave in Green
RE: MAC Coach of the Year If, and it's a BIG IF, the Zips win their next 4 games, they'd finish with a 15-1 conference record. That would be the best record in the MAC since Can't went 17-1 in the 2001-2002 season. If that happens and KD doesn't win the award, then I'll apply for official membership in the Conspiracy Against Akron Club.
skip-zip
Lets just hope that since the MAC title is now just two Home wins away, that our guys will come out with a little extra fire tonight. This team has lacked consistent effort for 40 minutes pretty much all season long. With the light at the end of the tunnel now beaming right in their faces, it's time for that all-out effort. Zips 80 BG
originalrowdy
The Zips are bigger down low, deaper off the bench, and just flat out more talented. Akron runs away with this one... UA: 78 BG:
akronzips71
If we win and Buffalo loses, we are locked in for the #2 depending on the tie breakers. Of course, we still have the beat Buffalo to have a shot at the tie breaker, or at least they have to lose one more game. But a won tonight and one more loss each by Buffalo (after losing tonight) and Can't should pretty much do it.

FearTheRoo
At the game. Zips sure didn't come out cold or slow. Hitting good shots and moving the ball fairly well. Defense is......well, OK so far..... Thanks to my iPad and UA's guest network for allowing me to troll while at the game.

akronzips71
Can BG miss a dang shot? wow we seriously should be beating them by 20 right now. We will win this because: We are scoring at will in the paint. They will not keep hitting jump shots all night. As soon as they cool off the margin will get huge. They actually have bagels in Akron now? We used to import them from Detroit one day each year. National Bagel Day, on the corner of Buchtel and whatever the frat house was on (next to the Lone Star house, but I don't remember the street names).
