Congrats to a great effort in a year when the MAC has been better than in the recent past. I've never gotten to see a MAC tournament in person but I'm making plans to come and see this one. I said the team had more athletic ability than any other Zips team that I had ever seen. Dave in Green Posted March 4, 2012 Report Share Posted March 4, 2012 Special recognition for the way the Zips clinched their first MAC regular season championship by beating Can't at Can't for the first time since the 2005-2006 season. And I can tell you who the sweet 16 prediction came from without doing any research -- GoZips. Even if this edition of the Zips doesn't make it to the sweet 16, they've already done something that no other Zips team has ever accomplished with a MAC regular season championship.
