johnnyzip84
Maybe McCray, Nico, Cody and company can make this guy's 1st start a troublesome one It's seems the depth chart issue is gamesmanship on somebody's part.
Captain Kangaroo
Maybe McCray, Nico, Cody and company can make 1st start a troublesome one Grant (6-2, 285)? Is this weight stat simply more wacky George O'Leary gamesmanship? How big are their DL's? 6'10", 410?

johnnyzip84
I love it! I like it, too. Why not keep UCF in the dark? Hopefully, the default thinking is that this Zips squad isn’t much different than the one the Knights faced in 2012. With so many new, and potentially influential players, I suspect TB is trying to set a trap. I don’t blame him one bit.
K92
This doesn't really belong here, but I didn't want to start a new thread. Just another short vid to add to the excitement leading up to Thursday's game.
K92
The defensive backs have endured criticism during preseason camp. At times during practice, they were been exposed by a UCF passing attack that could be one of the best in the American Athletic Conference UCF secondary faces early test in Akron offense
johnnyzip84
EA of the PD has this article on the opener. "We are going down there to win a football game,'' Bowden said. EA also has this article on KP16. "Since he was a redshirt, I'm sure he didn't know where he stood as a college quarterback,'' Bowden said of the transition from one staff to another. "But by the time we got to (spring 2012), we could tell he had a pretty good arm. You could tell right then he was going to be the future at quarterback. When we first got here you could see, he's got the best arm of anybody. Throwing has always come natural to him.'' The transition was having transfer quarterback Dalton Williams take the brunt of rebuilding in Bowden's image, as well as the brunt of the losses, to the point now Pohl enters the season with a relatively clean slate. For his career -- last season as a backup -- Pohl is 38 of 58 passing for 366 yards, 5 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.
johnnyzip84
Unsurprisingly, Joe Dunn picked the Zips to upset the Knights 35-31 at the end of the Big Time Sports show on 1350 am this afternoon, with the Zips fight song playing during closing credits. That's somewhat to be expected. But this guy at Rant Sports also has the Zips prevailing. Hmmmmmm.
Zipsrifle
Zips keep it close but we're not there yet. Zips 34 UCF 38.

Ham
I think Rant is on the right track, but I think we will see more points.

Captain Kangaroo
Orlando Sentinel article on "Depth Chart Gate" I look forward to the Zips victory lead by CJ Mizell's 14 tackles... and O'Leary's post game presser where he complains if CJ was on the 2-deep he'd have game-planned completely different. Captain Kangaroo
Anyone wonder where all that weight Bowden lost ended up?
johnnyzip84
Anyone wonder where all that weight Bowden lost ended up? Maybe Bowden figured he didn’t need to send a depth chart to O’Leary because George is so good at cobbling together documents all by his lonesome
AKSportsFan
Alright, the dilemma of the evening is that I just tried visiting frontrowsports.com (which is the site I believe I have used in the past to stream most zips games) and they are on an indefinite time out due to site construction. I only have Direct TV and that appears to not be a qualifying provider to gain access to ESPN3. Are there any other suggestions to tapping into a stream for tomorrow nights game? Its the same site, dont know if the game will be shown though.
