ZachTheZip
I guess Buffalo's recruiting is going well.Buffalo changed head coaches this offseason. Weird things happen with recruiting during a coaching transition.

Captain Kangaroo
HmmmmmmmIf we grabbed a 5th year senior, Bowden would be admitting he has no clue how to recruit, or groom a quarterback. We have 3 Power 5 QB commits on our roster now, and the 4th QB has started about 30 D1 games in his career. One of those guys better be able to handle the job.We have so many holes...if we have an extra scholarship for a 5th year kid, it better be for a WR or OL.
Balsy
I agree, I want one of the guys on the roster to step-up, including Pohl. We've got to have the guy on our roster who can take us to the promised land...if we don't...we've got bigger problems than we all realize. LZIp
Take it FWIW, but I was talking to someone who is "in" with the football program, more specifically involved with recruiting, and they think it was a down year even for Akron's standards. As for myself, I'm sort of indifferent I suppose. Captain Kangaroo
With 18 TDs vs 22 INT's last season, maybe he's in line for a WR tryout?Doesn't really fit the mold of Bowden's "OUR QB WILL NOT TURN THE BALL OVER" 2015 mantra.

Zipgrad01
The offensive line is going to look very different than it did in the Spring Game.He looks like a guy we added for depth at the center or guard position. I don't see him starting.

I don't see him starting. We really need some OL depth, so it's good to see a couple older transfers arriving. But we need to start getting some Freshman OL's that we can redshirt and groom to be 3-year starters. OL guys always take a year or two to mesh. JUCO guys can only do so much...ditto the grad-transfer guys. Just when they start looking good, their eligibility expires.I expect a great season out of Tommy Brown this year. We have been one or two injuries away from disaster.
