Zipgrad01
Buffalo is putrid. No excuse why we shouldn't win the next 3.
LZIp
Buffalo is putrid. No excuse why we shouldn't win the next 3.Yep. Getting the hell beat out of them by NIU minus Hare and Lewis. Cant believe they waxed OU. I guess that's the MAC for you.
LZIp
Impressive catch by McGill right there though.
ZippyRulz
Matt Johnson is not looking very sharp tonight. Neither is the WMU run defense. BG is a good MAC team and would be an average AAC team. Edited November 12, 2015 by ZippyRulz
LZIp
Just like that...Buffalo is back in it. 31-23 in the 4th
Dr Z
Bowling Green Wraps up the East Before a Snowflake Hits the Ground. --EA of the PDThe BG (8-2 overall, 6-0 MAC) triumph also threw the MAC West Division race into a logjam. With the Broncos (6-4, 5-1) losing their first MAC game, they are now tied with Northern Illinois (7-3, 5-1) and Toledo (8-1, 5-1) for first, with games remaining against NIU and Toledo. We get excited when our quarterback's numbers are that good. And there are four MAC teams playing Saturday (Zips, Miami, UMass, EMU) and the Zips have twice as many MAC victories as the other three combined (and if we beat Miami would be where all of our MAC victories resides - not a point of pride). Lee Adams
As it turned out Matt Johnson didn't have to throw the ball all over the yard. BG was able to win and control the game on the ground. Johnson was effective. Licata was bad early but he warmed up later on and got UB back within striking distance. UB has a hard time running it appears. But, beware UB on 11-21. Not likely Akron will score a lot of points. So, the secondary can't become vulnerable as it has a tendency to do. If the front can keep Licata moving and not let him establish the pass AND the Akron offense doesn't turn oover the ball.....I remember 2008 at the Bowl. Last game there How many OT's? Buffalo won and pretty much killed the rest of the season for the Zips. One at a time!
skip-zip
I think it was 3 Overtimes. Good thing it was a nice night, so that everyone was able to stay really late to watch the "closing of the Rubber Bowl" ceremony. You're right, Lee. We had a chance that night to win our 3rd game in a row and take control of a possible MAC East title, and we collapsed after that heartbreaking loss and lost our last two games after that. zippy5
4 OTs. It not only killed their season but the next 5+ as well

LZIp
It's the reverse of our game with BG. Thank goodness we don't play toledo.Didn't even have to read your post to know it would somehow be a cheapshot at the team.BG couldn't have had a worse start and Lewis left/is injured on top of that. Still a lot of game to go. If they don't get them this time, I bet they get them in Detroit if Toledo makes it.

You dont agree?I don't agree nor disagree. I don't make predictions based off of one game. Ex. Toledo barely beat that "bad" CMU team last week. Toledo likes to run the ball, which plays into our hands. It wouldnt be close to the BG score. Edited November 18, 2015 by LZip
