Right now, it appears it is the opposite since there are none, and he has been able to pull in some local kids who has other options in his first 3-4 classes. I asked him what he thought about Akron; beginning of the year he didn't care at all for it. At the end of the season he now has a "wait and see" approach towards Akron.He's a pretty good player, but I think his view of Akron should answer that question. It is quite possibly the heaviest recruited area in the entire B1G and MAC. Not to mention you have national programs like Notre Dame and Alabama peaking their head in.
