Quoting posts in Firefox for Android v4.4 is broken. It puts the quote in the reply box, but doesn't allow you to type outside the quote box.

Try it now, is this still the case?

I can place the cursor outside the quote box, but if I go to type, it puts it back inside at the end of the quoted text. I'm using the standard Google keyboard on a Nexus 6 on Android 6.0.1

Chromefor Android lets me type outside the quote box, but doesn't pull the text from the quoted post?

If I could somehow combine the two browsers' quoting functionality I'd be set!

With our new upgrade, we will get minor "bug" upgrades more frequent. I assume this is a software bug. I will see if it has made their "bug" list yet.

Thanks.

Here is something I've noticed - when a story is linked on GoZips.com it comes right back to the ZN.O story - like the following

The Akron track and field program reaped the rewards for its efforts during the indoor campaign this season as five Zips garnered United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-America accolades.

Clicking on the link in that story took you right back to that story.

In the previous site, my profile name was 'Aaron'.  Now it is coming up as my login id, 'aorians'.  Is there any way to revert back to Aaron, or did I log in with the wrong profile somehow?

Thanks

Dr. Z, I'm not sure if you've answered this or not (or know anything about it) But I've been noticing that once a quote box is put into the response dialogue it cannot be removed, or at least I can't figure out how to do it.  Do you know anything about this?  Thanks!

Upgraded to 4.1.16. There is some reindexing going on in the background that may cause some early morning performance issues, but this should clear up by 9 am. If not, I'll repost an update here.

Maybe this upgrade will fix the issue I am having with the using the qoute button with chrome on my android device. once I use it, the same qoute comes up again every time I try to make a new response in any thread. I can delete the content in the qoute but the box remains.

I think it fixed a few things. Embedded images like twitter no longer add while space continually and I can actually get to the bottom post of every forum now which wasn't always the case. Thanks Doc!

There is a handle on the upper left (of the quote box), try clicking on that and hitting delete, does that work?

I'm having some minor bugs since the upgrade.

Now that the site has finished reindexing all posts and threads, are you having issues today? If so, can you be specific as to what they are?

You're right. Seems to be back to normal. Thanks!
