Dr Z
Zips are an early two point favorite according to bet online. Game on ESPN3. Kaleb Carter and Brandon Hickey of Hustlebelt preview the game here. "Kaleb: Everything is weird Brandon. Every single thing. But goodness it's why I love this conference right now. Akron seems to me to be best set up for the last few weeks of the season and for a MAC tourney title run. And you sure are right, Ohio is CONFUSING. And I'd agree with you, it was the best win Ohio has had this season. I think this is an Ohio team that has immense talent on offense but ultimately is a slightly better than middle of the pack MAC squad. They're not going to go and win five straight games in MAC play. It's just not going to happen." Edited February 1, 2016 by Dr Z

ZachTheZip
From Brandon on HustleBelt: Quote I see two guys - McAdams and Kretzer - as being those to steal the show. Per Ken Pom, Akron is ranked 31st in 3-point % while Ohio is ranked 330th in 3-point defense. That a huge advantage for Akron's two best 3-point shooters, and those guys can get hot. Kretzer grew up around Athens and I feel like he always plays well in Athens. Those two will be the guys to watch Tuesday night. I think guys like Johnson, Robotham and Jackson will get theirs. But if Kretzer and/or McAdams have great games Ohio will have a hard time winning this one.
kreed5120
OU has had points in MAC play where they have looked pretty good and others where they have looked extremely bad. I expect Akron to cover the spread and walk away with the W 72-66.
zippy5
Road rivalry game. I'm not confident in these types of games to predict a score but I am pretty confident that the Zips will pull this out. We're trending up, and we have the experience to win these kinds of tight rivalry games. I'd expect big nights from the vets.

Ohio now a 2pt fav, so they are catching significant money. I have no idea why????????
UAZippers
I get mad at Pat for missing a lot of bunny shots, buy this OU team is missing everything in close so far.
kreed5120
With how bad OU started, the Zips had an opportunity to put them in a much bigger hole heading into half, but I can't complain about a 7 point lead on the road vs. a solid MAC opponent. UAZippers
Antino: 0-4 Kretzer: 0-3 Robotham: 1-5 (with 2 bad airballs) Forsythe: 0-2 I'm pretty happy with a 7 point lead right now.

ZachTheZip
This is our toughest road game left, I think. NIU is showing cracks, Can't isn't as good as they think they are, and BG & Miami both suck.
