Those of you whining about the lack of respect...It is time to earn it.

If you think that OSU is too scared to play us and won't schedule us, we here is your chance. Put up or shut up.

Winner!! We have a chance to earn more respect in this tourney than we might have in the Dance realistically. Teams we are more capable of beating and being in state against the most well known University in the state gives it a lot potential.

Just win the game.  Another first round loss and everyone should just shut up.  Tired of the crying.

Another first round loss is now likely.. Not directly because of the opponent but because of how the game will play out and the location. We know how the officiating will go in that place. Most importantly, though, we shoot a ton of threes but are not used to doing it in large cavernous arenas like the one this game will be played in. You can't just get acclimated to the depth perception issue that creates overnight.

What? We just played 3 games in 3 days in a "cavernous arena".

That is a bunch of crap. Stop making excuses. If we lose it will be because they out rebound the crap out of us like buffalo did. It wont be the refs or a cavernous arena. We just got done playing at the q for heavens sake.

If we beat OSU, we will get to host Florida (assuming they win). Arena is under construction.

True and if it is North Florida we would host them as well. That would be interesting because most of this season Akron was second in made threes per game. The team that was first ahead of us was North Florida.

You mean a large cavernous arena like they played in yesterday, the day before and the day before?  The excuses this board floats are preposterous.

3500 attendance over/under

Over. The Zips will have 1500 fans there and Tosu can probably bring at least 2000 in Columbus. 5500 would have been assured in Akron and ticket scalpers would have made a tidy sum.

We are better than them this year, but will likely lose the game only because of home court advantage. HC advantage means more in basketball than it does in any other sport. The selection committees know this. They purposely schedule the NIT so that the bigger school hosts. Their intent is to get rid off all of the smaller schools so that they can get better TV ratings and large crowds for the final four in Madison Square Garden. Its a rigged game. Non-BCS level FBS schools along with mid major basketball schools should just quit the NCAA altogether and start a new sanctioning body. We can have our own championships and tell the big boys to screw themselves.

You already know how this is all going to go?  Can I buy your crystal ball?

I have no idea how the game is going to go, but to blame the refs and the arena is just silly. If we lose because we get hosed by the refs nobody will be surprised, but i said what the most logical reason would be for a loss.
