Sportsjunkie330
It looks like on his visit "Akron University" (according to his Twitter) was trying to sell him on being the first player in "AU" history to wear a backward #5 or a flipped upside down & backward #2. morris buttermaker
No, i see it now....when he looks down at his jersey, it is a #2 (his hs #).... I think its a trick a lot of the bigger programs pull
94zipgrad
Lol, plus a green shirt is a recruit that is brought in early, so a 2017 graduate that graduates early & enrolled in spring semester (now) and is expected to contribute as a true freshman
zipsoutsider
OK, let's leave the recruit alone. He probably isn't going to major in Photoshop and people get the terminology wrong. It can be confusing.

His highlight film looks good & good size, absolutely not making fun of the recruit, just don't see his name on any of the list & after some of the comments was just thinking maybe someone was playing around, hope he is part of the Zip family

How do the divisions work in Florida? In Ohio we have Division 1 (largest schools) -to- Division 6 (or maybe even 7? smallest schools). Since Florida has 8 divisions, being in 4A is in the middle.

Tiger for Life 88
Class 4A runs to 1150 kids in the school. The only 4A teams we play are in our district and the playoffs. Our other 6 regular season games were against 6A and 7A schools 1800 to 2400 kids.

zipsoutsider
Per Scouting Ohio, he was being recruited as a kicker and has a preferred walk-on.

Just what I was about to ask. Avon is a solid program. Any kind of recruiting relationship Akron can make with them would be good news. To put that in perspective, Barberton H.S. had 1,154 students last year per the Ohio Department of Education. Barberton is a DII team in Ohio. Those 6A and 7A schools would all easily be D1 Ohio teams ... for example Cuyahoga Falls has 1,407 and is D1. Captain Kangaroo
McDonald HS had 480 kids the year I graduated. And that was 7th - 12 grade (we didn't have a middle school). 2,400 kids? Holy moley...
