Did anyone attend?  I couldn't make it.

Wish I could have made it.  Looks like it was a lot of fun.  Beautiful day for it, btw.

It was a beautiful day..however the turn out for this event was disappointing...

....for the most part just the players family members....

Can't say I'm surprised. Sunday morning events won't get much of a crowd, no matter what it is.

And they don't usually give a lot of notice or do much in the way of advertising.

Hmm.  This event is never highly attended, but if it was just some loyal fans, and families of the players, it seems worthless to do this unless there's more activities and fanfare and publicity to make it something special worth attending.

It seemed like the players enjoyed themselves. I say keep at it!

We all know that the purpose of this event is to get current fans and maybe "fringe fans" more engaged.

 

But even if it could also be a vehicle for the players to feel loved, and more motivated, couldn't that possibly have the opposite affect on them when very few people attend?

Both players wearing the number 34 should have a big impact on opposite sides of the ball this year. One photo, two thirty fours.

That's the Blue and Gold, the way it should be.  

 

Maybe this will finally be the year that someone will decide that our men's basketball team should stop wearing Blue and Silver.

The Zips need to get rid of anything that includes black or silver.

 

Stick with our school colors.

I mostly agree, although I don't have a big issue with black jerseys, as long as they have Blue and Gold on them.

I think it's just texture unless they makin' a lot of tires out in Lincoln, too.
