Air Force comes into this showdown 5-0 on the season. They look to have size at the guard position, but are really undersized in the frontcourt. They only have 3 players over 6'5 that receive 10 minutes per game or more. Those guys are forwards Luvelle Scottie & Ryan Manning who are listed at 6'6 and Frank Toohey whose listed as their C and comes in at 6'7. They average just a tick under 22 3PA per game and as a team have hit 43.7% of those.

 

This looks like a matchup that we will need Big Dog to impose his will. We will also need our guards to play tight defense and not leave room for their shooters to hoist 3's.

To be fair, only three of their five wins are against D1 teams.

I emailed the tournament and received the following reply ...

 

"Unfortunately, we do not have any live video streams for this years tournament since it's our first year. Some teams do have radio broadcasts though that they may be streaming through their website. Thanks and have a great thanksgiving!

And this is the culmination of a big multi-team tournament, with the games all in one location this weekend.  Hard to believe.  Now I know why I wasn't thrilled that we entered this tournament in the first place.  Although, without the tournament, I can only assume that we might have a home game this weekend against SE Oklahoma or something.

Really looking forward to the gamecast of today's game. ;)  I'm torn, as this is the first meeting ever between my undergrad alma mater, and my ex-military force and employer.  Oh, Hell,  Go Zips!  The Falcons' American football team is beating Boise State, so that's enough for one day.

Also, back to the subject of our 2/3, Jimond Ivey.  Hope he can take the court this p.m!  Do you know that Jimond's mother and father have 7 children,  every one a male?  I calculated the odds of that at about 126-1.
