Awesome so far. When we play smart like this we are the class of the MAC.
skip-zip
Shouldn't be hard to stop offensive rebounds. You're in a better position to block out on almost every play. It's all about concentration and discipline. 7 friggin offensive rebounds for Buffalo so far. Edited February 25, 2017 by skip-zip

Let's just say there isn't anyone on this team who has a Dennis Rodman-type desire to rebound.
akronzips71
TDM is not ready to play in D1. Two horrible 3 point misses followed by a turnover. Horrible.
1981 grad
Our bench players looked bad when they were in there. Dunn Martin missed 2 three pointers, Utomi didn't draw iron on his 3 and then fouls a 3 point shot on the other end. Josh has not taken a shot and Poke got blocked. We need the bench to step up. Stop forcing the 3!

Did you watch the last game? That is an ignorant statement. He averages more assists in 10 minutes than Noah does in 30.
skip-zip
Am I the only one that's noticed Josh driving more? He's shown some skills I didn't know he had after spending 20 games hanging out at the 3-point line on every possession.

I think he has realized that every time he touches the ball, defenders sprint full speed to the 3-line. A drive or two should give him some better shots down the line. 1981 grad
Great play by Josh and then he screws up a 3 on 1. Bounce pass, Bounce pass, Bounce pass!

K92
Maybe Noah is distracted by the Buffalo Dance Team.

Looks like he's picking up where he left off for the most part
zippy5
While we could be up double digits if we hit the boards, that was a nice response to the Bowling Green massacre
skip-zip
Coach Oates stalked the officials the entire half, and stares them down going to the locker room, yet Buffalo has shot over DOUBLE the amount of free throws as the Zips. Zipgrad01
If we even remotely tried to get offensive boards we would be up 15 at the half. Buffalo is athletic, but they suck.

1981 grad
Both Noah and Josh are driving more. I am sure that is something they are working on. I saw Noah hit the deck for the first time this season. These guys need to penetrate if they are going to be guarded closely at the 3 line. Noah has missed several easy baskets driving to the basket the last 3 games but at least he is making the effort. I do not like seeing Josh, Noah, Antino and Utomi in at the same time. Not one of them is a good rebounder and we are getting killed on the boards. We are slow to the ball on the offensive rebounds.
zipsrule
It is amazing how bad Buffalo is shooting. Those bad shots are leading to offensive rebounds.

Thats a good point. While we are rebounding like dog poo, there have been some long rebounds off the bad misses

The airball that fell right into someone's hands for an easy basket was ridiculous. But, we aren't blocking out. That's all about focus. That can be corrected easily. skip-zip
Too many minutes for a few of our guys. That "2nd Unit" of Poke, Tavian and Utomi sucked, and came back out way too fast. That certainly wasn't how we wanted that to play out.
