Dr Z
The last minute of the video KD makes a short speech that some members may enjoy.

clarkwgriswold
Too bad they didn't squeeze this in after the Miami game.

Hilltopper
Kwan and Isaiah didn't cut any net either. There is still work to do before they reach their goal.
clarkwgriswold
My initial reaction when I saw the video was that the kids and KD seemed disinterested. It then struck me that their disinterest may be a good sign in that they see it as a very minor prize on their path to bigger things.

Based on his short speech, I think coach D is happy but definitely not content with a regular season title. Players therefore probably feel the same. skip-zip
That's a really tough thing to get kids to celebrate and enjoy their accomplishments, but also get them to understand that this is somewhat of a minor prize and make them hungry to achieve more. I thought Keith handled that the way he needed to.
NWAkron
Low-key affair. Bus was parked outside ready to be loaded up with players and their gear.
MDZip
Would have been so cool to have done it after a win over Miami (or anyone at the JAR). But maybe it helps focus the team.
Hilltopper
There was a longer speech before they started that isn't on the video.
Blue & Gold
Regular-season champion Zips ceremoniously cut down nets but focus on MAC Tournament

Crazy that we lost 2 home games but won 2 big road games during the same stretch.
