If we want to go bowling we simply can't afford a loss today.  Looking ahead I see only 2 "certain" victories in Buffalo and, of course, K.ent.

PSU - L

APB - W

ISU - L

Troy - L

BGSU - W

...

Ball Sweat - ???

Western MI - L

Toledo - L

Buffalo - W

Miami - L (we never win in Oxford)

Ohio - L

K.ent - W

Even with penciling in a W for today, that's only 4 wins... 5 if we beat Ball Sweat.  I'd say we have absolutely no chance to reach 6 wins if we lose today.

Win or lose, today is a watershed day for this program moving forward.

Have you watched Buffalo? That is far from a certain win.

UA Redshirt Freshman Kwadarrius Smith Brings Needed Speed to Zips Offense

A human-interest story for the Zips!!!  I won't even gripe about the fact Kwad's a red-shirt Junior.

And I certainly didn't know this about his tough upbringing.  Makes me pull for him even harder.  (I'll make you click the link to see to what I'm referring.)

It looks to me like someone handed the column to The ABJ, whose only responsibility was to write the headline.

Unless there is a huge personality change with this team, even if they win today and possibly next week, its hard to see how they get any momentum. With the two roadies at WMU and Toledo looming. They still have Miami and OU. Those two at least right now are likely the top two in the East. Miami has a really good QB and OU is OU.

I wonder how long Bowden will go with Woodson if the offense continues to sputter? Realize that his supporting cast isn't real good. And he needs a better one. But, possibly at some point Bowden might have to 'get the attention' of the team if he wants to salvage something. Or,he might have to hunker down and run the ball and run the ball. Two backs a TE or two. The defense is harder because it has problems stopping the straight ahead run. And,it has had trouble covering the middle of the field.

Everyone here is correct. Got to finally beat BGSU or....?

Great. Our best offensive players gets hurt on a eff'n play that didn't even count.  That doesn't look good. We knew we had the offsides.........why on earth didn't we throw the fade like we normally do or why didn't Ball just fall down!

Missed the god damn XP, I'd be shocked if Ball isn't gone for a season,  and George's dumb fumble after the INT that led to a BG TD. We are leading, but I'm not enjoying this much so far.

Exactly where I am. I haven't had fun watching a game in over a year. I just feel blah.
