First two MAC games are on the road.  Then we have a home stretch followed by a tough trip to Muncie and then off to that dark pit known as Millett Hall.  We rather knew (and sometimes afraid to admit) during the Dambrot era how these games would turn out, but it's all different this year.

What makes you so sure that we will win one of those 5?

You need to add another poll option: (None of the above) and that would be my pick.

I hope the young Zips will prove me wrong but we all knew that this was going to be a tough transition year.

In prior seasons, this would be an easier call.  We could identify a bottom feeder and make the call.  This year, between the parity in the MAC and it being a down/transition year for the Zips, who knows?

Live on the edge, Clark, and make a decision! Vote!

I went with Toledo for no reason other than I think that we will be due to see three or four guys have really good games at the same time instead of just one or two trying to carry the team through a game.

It seems to me that the topic of ‘who is the first team the Zips lose to at home?’ could also be started if it hasn’t been already.

Unfortunatly, we may be the bottom feeders you referring to. What worries me most is an injury to any of our top 3 players, we have no adequate depth.  Yes the MAC seems to be evenly matched, but only 2 other teams appear as inexperienced and thin as the Zips, so I picked Miami as our first road win.

It pains me to say it, but right now their best chance is at BG.  Otherwise, we may have an o-fer.

Clark is on the money.  It's BG, an unexpected upset or an o'fer for the season.
