Balsy
Week 1 wrapped up with a cancellation between Akron and Nebraska. Looks like the MAC will need to wait another week before it can get a crack at flying the MAC Jolly Roger, as the MAC goes 5-6; all wins coming against FCS teams, and all losses coming against D-1 conferences. GJGood
Interesting scheduling for week 1. It was all or nothing. Every MAC opponent was either a FCS team or a Power 5 Conference team. It’s odd that no MAC school played another Group of 5 school in their opener.

Balsy
Updated as of now. Utah I moved to the right spot in the Pac-12 section. Oh what could have been...as Colorado beats Nebraska...

Balsy
Jesus BGSU is tied with an FCS team...and the FCS team has the ball with a legitimate chance to win the game. Man how the mighty have fallen.

LZIp
Anyone think NIU is going to knock off FSU this week? Seems like this is the worst FSU team in a very long time.
ZippyRulz
OU blew their lead and lost to Cinci. Buffalo gets a Jolly Roger, thumping Rutgers.

Rutgers is a MAC school - maybe even below the MAC - athletically, with a large east-coast market attraction, hence their Big Ten membership. Buffalo only gets the Jolly Roger on a technicality.

Yes the current MAC media darling is Buffalo, Tyree Jackson and their WR Anthony Johnson (even though they have another who is statistically better so far). They have not beaten anyone of note so far, but are just undefeated. Temple lost to FCS Villanova and Rutgers is a joke. I'm curious to see how they do vs. Army next week. They also have us, Toledo, Ohio, Miami, and whoever they would face in the MAC-C (assuming they get there). I don't see some type of magical season from them. A good season possibly, but nothing like NIU or WMU have had.
kreed5120
It's hard to fathom how Rutgers isn't better given their history to the game and the fact they're the only FBS school in a state that produces a fairly decent amount of talent.
