So far (11/25) you can tell by our recruiting priorities where our staff feels we have the greatest need.  Like we've all noted, it's on the OL, DL & defensive backfield.  We currently have 4 OL verbals, 2 DT verbals and 4 DB verbals.

 

We're still waiting on a RB (or two).

With 5 DB verbal commits, I wonder if the staff is contemplating moving Jalen Hooks to WR next season?  He was an excellent WR at Warren Harding and I was a little surprised when I saw him listed as a DB once he got to UA.

We needed DBs desperately this season. If I recall correctly we started the season with like 9 total on scholarship, which isn't many when at times you need 5 on the field at once. Glad to see we established some depth at the position.

Michael Snowden made the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Fabulous 22 Team.

Also, Michael notes he was recruited to play LB, so I'll update the initial post.

*That gives us a nice distribution amongst defense recruits w/ 2 DT's, 2 DE's, 2 LB's, and 4 DB's.

FWIW @Blue & Gold, I can't find it, but I believe there was an article posted saying that we offered Isaiah Childs as a RB, which is why he chose us over K State.

Jonzell Norrils, RB, 6-1, 195, from Toledo Central Catholic.
