So what kind of media agreements is the MAC looking at securing to make sure their fans are able to still watch "MACtion"?

Oh wait, that would require actual leadership which the conference lacks.

I imagine they'll all at minimum be on ESPN3/ESPN+ or CBSSN.

Currently the GoZips.com schedule lists the January 1st game -v- Buffalo as being carried by CBSSports but all other games are currently listed as TBA.  But I agree that they’d have to at least be on ESPN+.

On another note, ranked 3rd after the choke monsters BG and the Kittens?  Really?

It is nice to see the Zips picked at the top, but I wouldn't give those pre-season polls to much weight.  Where did they have us picked last year?  Maybe 4th in the East?

The season ending game against PCCC at the JAR now seems lifetimes ago...

Not having fans was certainly predictable.   Surprised they haven't killed any and all OOC yet.

Now all of the OOC games are off of the online calendar/schedule.

I wonder how many awkward conversations the ticket office is having with ticket holders who paid a little extra to better their chances in the ticket lottery.

They framed it as caveat emptor.

It looks like no fans allowed.  Only family and maybe the band, cheerleaders, and dance team at the school's discretion.

U.S. Centers for Disease and Control and Prevention (CDC) recently updated its estimated Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) parameters to include age-specific data showing the vast majority of people who contract the Chinese coronavirus survives.

CDC’s new IFR estimates broken down by age are part of the agency’s September 10update to its “COVID-19 Pandemic Planning Scenarios.”

Based on the “Scenario 5: Current Best Estimate” for the IFR,  0-19 years old, 99.997 percent; 20-49 years old, 99.98 percent; 50-69 years, 99.5 percent; and 70 years old or older, 94.6 percent.

CDC recently updated estimated infection fatality rates for COVID. Here are the updated survival rates by age group:

0-19: 99.997%
20-49: 99.98%
50-69: 99.5%
70+: 94.6%

Seriously?  "Chinese" virus?  Take your xenophobia to a different message board.

First off, the virus was found to start on the Wuhan Peninsula marketplaces. Specifically where humans eat bats. The Chinese government tried to hide the fact they had an epidemic, but it spread.

Second, it’s not the death rate of the virus that causes the strain on our health system. It’s the amount of hospital admissions, specifically ICU admissions that the authorities look at. When hospitals fill up and elective procedures get cancelled, that affects us all.

Cleveland Clinic wanted to turn an education hall into a makeshift ICU, but there were over 900 nurses off work with the illness.

The virus might not have a huge death rate, but when it decimates the health care system, we all are affected.
