Something about seeing a 7 foot Aziz hit the floor makes me nervous. But kudos to him for taking the charges and diving after loose balls.

The Zips took only 17 shots in the first half and had 9 turnovers.

The games are slow and painful to watch this year. Not very entertaining.

 

Aziz is getting better every game. Clark mentioned it looks like Freeman & Aziz are learning to play together. I agree.

 

Our guard play is the issue. We have very mediocre guard play.

 

I wish we’d try to fast break more & get buckets before the D gets set up. We don’t get into our offense till there are only 10-15 seconds on the shot clock.

 

Kind of exasperated with this team.

I wonder if they haven't intentionally slown things down due to the lack of depth, but yikes, there are stretches where watching the offense is like watching paint dry.

 

These teams had a combined 1 point on fast breaks in the first half.  Must have been a fast break free throw.
