They were very much in the game until a fair ball that went in foul territory got tangled up with a chair. The umpire ruled it an error and sent the base runners home. that seemed to take all of the wind out of the Zips sails. The Citadel scored 10 more runs to win 13-2. Next up, a Wednesday inter against Cincinnati Bearcats, then a three day weekend against Dukie. Friday the MAC season starts at home with 3 against the Rockets.
