That said, there is a tremendous amount of talent in that area and some of our better players hail from there:

RB - Simmons

WR - Golden

OL - Blanchard

OL - James

OL - T. Williams

DE -Nunnally

LB - Fish

Exactly, it's probably the heaviest recruited area in the country.

 

The part of the country that I feel gets slept on is the Midwestern states of MN, WI, IL, etc. Those states don't produce a ton of 5* talent so it appears many schools spend little to no time recruiting it. It however has a lot of quality G5 talent. Much of that talent seems to find its way onto the the roster of the Dakota FCS programs, which dominate the subdivison.

These are from recruiting visits, they have a photo shoot as part of the day.
