He said that Tairan is an excellent WR for them, but it looks like we recruited him as a Safety. Hopefully that translates to a lot of interceptions for us. 2 Quote

I think he’ll develop into a really good player in a few years. Coach Renna has done an excellent job identifying talent in the defensive backfield. This might be the year we get see a few of those younger guys from the 2022 and 2023 classes play significant snaps. Edited April 12, 2024 by catdaddyp 1 Quote

Syracuse was firmly after him. He took a round of OVs - with one of them being to Syracuse and finished his OVs with us. The staff apparently sealed the deal at that time. The Syracuse insiders at Rivals were all over this one and predicted the commitment to Akron yesterday. 5 Quote

72 Roo Posted July 8, 2024 Report Posted July 8, 2024 Meister, don't you know the low man always wins in line matchups. That is why we went after Marshon hard. There was a three footer that we wanted but OSU got him with their limitless NIL money. 😁 1 Quote

Definitely a good one. McManus showed out at a recent Rivals camp. Hence his (5.6) 3 star rating. He’s viewed as already having solid technique with excellent athleticism and a high upside. Cincinnati was the other main player in his recruitment. Edited July 29, 2024 by catdaddyp 1 Quote
