Tarik Pannholzer scores his 2nd goal of the season from an amazing long ball from GK Aleksa Janjic.

 

If you would have told me in 2011 when Marshall AD Mike Hamrick unveiled the Hoops Family Field renderings, that in 13 years "Marshall already had a national championship and they are getting ready to play for their second star". I would have ask you what kind of drugs you was taking. Before Grassie got to Marshall in 2017, Marshall had exactly 12 winning or break even seasons from 1979-2016.

GVH could be the MH for Akron. Wish they’d forgo paying the search firm and just get it done already. He’s local sitting here ready to go. Either that or Heather Lyke who will back soccer in a big way as we’ve seen at Pitt. Hearing it’s one or the other so why waste time and money, especially if you have to pay a former power conference AD. We are losing momentum.

Heather Lyke was being paid $1.5 million a year at Pittsburgh.   She recently interviewed for the AD job at Northwestern.

I don't believe that Heather Lyke is in the U of A desired price range.

 

GVD (as he is known by Lane Kiffin) only knows the "Akron way".   Akron needs someone that understands how successful schools work.

Lyke may have interviewed but is still out of a job, mother in Akron area I believe and most importantly attended UA law school with … wait for it … RJ Nemer. Don’t put it past him to convince her.
