With the exception of a fluke and two good plays by Kent, Akron is in complete control of this game. They look like they know what they are doing.

Akron needs to engage in some adult kickoffs. They are surrendering too many yards which makes the subsequent drive after another Kent three and out longer than it needs to be.

Not a fan of the pooch kickoffs. Other than the kickoff that Kent fumbled and recovered, their average starting position after a kickoff is their own 39-yard line.

The wind is doing things to kicks.  So that there's been some weird kicking game follies isn't a shock.

Has Moorhead ever explained why they do this?

Probably because we’ve gave up multiple returns for touchdowns this year and we’re facing some pretty good returners.

Assuming Akron loses it will be because of Mooreheads bonehead play calling and Finleys uncanny ability to badly impersonate a competent QB.

Obviously I've been no Moorhead fan.  The playcalling has been just fine tonight.

Basically ignoring your best offensive player Gant and putting the game in Finleys hands is not sound play calling.

Akron has over 300 yards in the half.  It's been fine.  Got another half.

Gant has 68 yards in the first half. I'd take 136 yard day from him.
