He's not a bad defender but he went to the bench when they switched up the lineup for better defense and replaced him with Halligan.

I don't think Halligan is playing better defense today. I like Zach, but he is struggling to keep up.

Very sloppy half for both teams. I was expecting us to come out a bit flat because we haven’t played a D1 school since the 19th but we did a lot better than I thought

 

Need to fix the passing and get our 3pt shooters going, cause you know Miami won’t stay at 25% from 3.

Lyles is getting fouled just about every time they go up for a rebound, but the refs have proven at this point that they aren't calling it. He needs to get mad and fight back more.

It’s definitely a road game, but a quality match up. Just get the win and I’ll be thrilled. And too many turnovers.

24-8 points in the point so far in favor of Akron. Need to take advantage of that further in the 2nd half.

 

Miami probably looks at Suder only having 2 points and only being down 3 as a good sign.

Sure glad he didn’t. Especially since it hasn’t looked like Young took a step forward this year.

They're getting much cleaner looks. We're honestly fortunate as they just missed two open looks. We need to bring back that defensive intensity that we saw in the first half.
