Zip_ME87 Posted March 8 Author Report Posted March 8 As I recall, Remi scored in the 24th minute and Aiden in the 65th minute. 1 Quote
fknbuflobo Posted March 8 Report Posted March 8 Remi Agunbiade looks like he leveled up since last we saw him. More composure on the ball. He was a handful for the Vikings every time he touched it. 3 Quote
Zips1991 Posted March 8 Report Posted March 8 If he leveled up from last year, he's in for a huge year! 1 Quote
Zips1991 Posted Saturday at 02:26 AM Report Posted Saturday at 02:26 AM Any word on how the match went? I saw on IG that we scored a PK but didn't see the final. Quote
Zip_ME87 Posted Saturday at 02:41 AM Author Report Posted Saturday at 02:41 AM 1-1 final blOSU 5-3 on PKs Quote
Reslife4Life Posted Saturday at 03:38 AM Report Posted Saturday at 03:38 AM Dang, do we have a starting GK solidified? Quote
Zip_ME87 Posted Saturday at 04:10 AM Author Report Posted Saturday at 04:10 AM Brett Kaminski played well in both Spring games. blOSU went first in PKs. Zips missed one pk (not saved by blOSU) going down 4-3. When blOSU made their 5th pk, there was no need for the Zips to take a 5th one. As for the run of play, Zips need to finish. It’s Spring with 9 new players. Lots to figure out. 2 Quote
Zip_ME87 Posted Saturday at 01:55 PM Author Report Posted Saturday at 01:55 PM (edited) There was a lot of good in this game. Lots of good ball movement and players working together. Good defense with just the one breakdown, inability to clear inside the box. Not sure how it works, but I think the PK’s only figure in if a tiebreaker is needed. I find it hard to believe that Michigan does not have (let's say) 15 players available to compete. Or perhaps their recently built field is unplayable due to weather. And I too wonder how this affects the Spring "league". My guess is that Michigan forfeits the match. Quote

It will be deemed a forfeit therefore the Zips awarded the 3 points. Information second hand from an athlete on the team. 1 1 Quote
