There should still be an avenue available to the Ohio Supreme Court but I suspect that would take more time than they have. The plaintiffs (which include Tavari, Amani, and Evan) filed a notice that they will appeal. NCAA to respond today. 1 Quote

kreed5120 Posted Monday at 02:33 AM Report Posted Monday at 02:33 AM Kenpom has released their 2027 preseason rankings. I'm not really a person to put too much stock into them, but I'm ready for the season to start. https://kenpom.com/ Below rounds out how they place the MAC top 5. I read somewhere else, can't remember where, Kenpom has the MAC ranked 12th overall for conference strength. Akron - 109 Kent - 121 Miami - 123 Toledo - 136 Ohio - 143 4 Quote

I really hope the courts see through the crap and rule in favor of the athletes. Here is an interesting excerpt... "The Athletes completed four seasons of NCAA basketball during a four-year period and therefore exhausted their eligibility under the rules applicable during their years of play. The Athletes do not dispute that they are no longer eligible under the Four-in-Five Year Rule that applied each year they played collegiate sports." At the golf outing, Dustin Ford made the point that all the 2026-27 freshman committed under the Four-in-Five Year Rule but are now covered under the Five-in-Five Year Rule along with 3(?) other classes of athletes. All they had to do was grandfather in this class to avoid the chaos. The NCAA's stance is weak and we are less than a month away from the season. I hope the courts stick it to 'em for creating this mess. Edited Tuesday at 02:19 PM by Let'sGoZips94 2 Quote
