Make game day a great experience for everyone.

I think you can alleviate some of those other (valid) points if this one is accomplished.

It's not a short term fix, unfortunately

"The myth of MACtion." A "travesty."  UT, BUGS, & the Toledo Blade making their feelings known to the MAC higher ups 🔥

That the "premier" MAC schools are basically coming out and saying "this sucks" may be the catalyst to get rid of the weekday games.  What I wonder is...is there a different TV network (or streaming partner, whatever) that's interested in getting into the game that can make the MAC a centerpiece of their (admittedly smaller) network.  In a world where the NAL and IFL are getting streaming partners and games aired anywhere (not exactly for the MAC's dollars, but still)...

It started off on Thursday's and then other conferences started doing it and the NFL. We moved to Tuesday / Wednesday and others play some on those night but its been primarily the MAC. The NFL is experimenting with a Wednesday game this year and has expressed an interest in moving some more games during the week. This will end up burying some these games any way when it gets to this. You add this to viewer fatigue and this model could add more harm over time.

Having a 3rd of the schedule on days fans can't attend in person has become a tough sell.

Depends on who you are selling it to. If you are selling it to dimwitted without an ounce of creativity athletic directors who will destroy the institutions they work for in order to get a higher paying job, it's an easy sell.
