    Lost by 17 and then by 47 in the Boca Raton Bowl. Lucked in with win over Ohio. Wasn't that like Kato's best game? Then won first 2 games of the next season, including then ranked Northwestern, and finished by losing 8 of the last 10 including the last 5.

    BG beat Ohio the other night, so looks like Zips will be dead last in the MAC. BG has 4 wins with a win over Minnesota. 2 wins in MAC. The only way is up.

    Utomi went to USC. Some land pretty well. I remember reading that Virshon gave up on basketball.

    I like! Jim Tressel was very conservative play caller but he also depended on his punter and defense to do their jobs.

    The search firms allow for confidentiality. Otherwise, GT could get a public records request for emails and documents relating to search. I think in this situation...maybe more warranted than others. How about announcing Holliday as coach during the Marshall basketball game? Too cute by half?

    I think KD used to say when the guys are in a FT slump you can't mention it to them or it just makes it worse. They will work their way out of it.

    I'm going to disagree with you on that point. Groce's teams are very fit and are built to run the floor. That's not why they are missing wide open 3s. Talent level, confidence, and attitude.

    All those MAC teams got knocked out in 2nd round of soccer (not counting WVU). Think of it this way, they didn't have to bus, house, and feed them in KY. Money saved.
