We're a middle of the road team talent wise based on recruiting rankings, and we finished middle of the road. The fact that JoeMo can even put together middle of the road talent levels with the restrictions he faces is an achievement. Then finishing even where he should based on talent level, given the practice restrictions, is still a notch in his belt. I get he's not out pounding the pavement for donors and maybe that's part of the gig these days, but the guy has done okay with what he has available to him imo

Up to 41 in NET. Tulane is 256 so unfortunately that wasn't the opportunity we thought it might be preseason. Murray State will be a good test
-
My point was this conference sucks. We can win here, it's not impossible even with a lack of funding
-
The resources are the resources. We aren't in the SEC. We had enough talent to win 6-7 games this season. We need a coach (and it can be Joe Mo) that can coach and win games with the resources that we have, and hopefully community support can increase with the success. Anything else is just wishful thinking in regards to UA committing to football because it's been decades without actual support

Yes this wasn't a "big win" but it was an excellent performance imo

It was built in 1933

They invested in their programs

See I think the small time conferences have their championships tonight, and the conference tournaments earlier than the normal championship week. I think it gives legitimacy to our championships to the casual fan

I went into this season assuming it's his last one here. If he's going to leave, it'll be this offseason imo since this should be our best year. Hoping he just wants to stay for the long haul and turn us into a real mid major power though. It's possible, he was on the verge at OU with a sweet sixteen run and Caris Levert committed..

Joe won 5 games last year - next year is bowl or bust. Why would we be okay setting expectations back to 2-3 wins next year?

Catdaddy will surely chime in but there's just no way those offers were all committable -

I think those are all the schools he's played with on his xbox -
Tavari and Eric Mahaffey made it. Townsend was the MVP unsurprisingly

One last thought - the score was high in numbers, but it wasn't fast paced. I was worried if Yale slowed us down, we'd have issues scoring in a half court offense if we weren't running. Our half court offense was great actually, so that is good to see we have a variety of ways to score going forward. Just need a way to at least slow down post scorers going forward

I know Yale played a perfect game but I'm sure their fans are saying the same about us. We had an answer for just about everything they had. Just one bucket short
-
My man the other team making every shot was in fact not good for us
-
Yeah at large or seeding, our numbers at the moment are good enough where a top 40 kenpom team starts getting attention if we go on a win streak
-
The good news is we only dropped to 62 in kenpom. Bad news is that's probably our last shot at a "good" win all year
-
Man that was a great game. Tavari got the look. Yale just couldn't miss
-
Man has Tavari turned into a weapon
-
Can't get out and run because we can't get any stops

Probably good to face some adversity, guys may have been feeling themselves a little too much. The first five minutes of this half will tell us a lot
