Game 2- Muskingum

[clarkwgriswold]

The mighty Muskies of Muskingum come into the JAR to face the Zips Monday in what their schedule lists as an exhibition.  The Muskies will have two games under their belts from the Mount Union Tournament by then.

The Muskies have an experienced upperclassmen driven team led by senior guard Owen Emig who eclipsed the 1000 career points mark last season.  They were 15-11 last season and lost to Heidelberg in the quarterfinals of the OAC tournament.

The Mount Union Tournament is where iron goes to sharpen iron.

If anybody is up for some scouting, the Muskies play in Alliance today against Penn State- Brandywine at 5:00 and against Franklin & Marshall tomorrow at 3:00.

I had a buddy decades ago that went to Franklin & Marshall, home of the Diplomats.  One year, the basketball team was very excited about their new custom shoes coming from the manufacturer.  When they arrived, they had emblazoned above the heel in nice bold lettering the word "DIPS" (short for Diplomats).  LOL.
