Bubba. We drilled you twice last year WITH Campbell. Unfortunately for you guys, you've fallen further and further behind us as a MAC power over the last few years, ever since your last so-called elite team got a 20 point spanking against us in Cleveland, while we were playing without a point guard. If you really think this is a preview of some great matchup in the March title game, Good Luck asking for a repeat of a 5-for-5 long range shooting night from your 25% 3-point shooter, getting 4 of our guys in peril with fouls in the same game, getting 2 Technicals called on Big Dog, Cheatham shooting 3 for 18 from the field, and getting more than Double our FT attempts.6 points

First ballot hall of famer!!! I know where I will be that day.4 points

19 references to "Big Dog" in one post. Gotta be some sort of record. He lost some composure yesterday and it cost us. You can't let a bench scrub bait you into a T. That said, the panicked, horrific shot selection once he returned to the game is what really killed us. Not the refs.3 points

Andre Williams plays in the 8A classification in FL. Those schools in his area average 2800 kids or better and that District is one of the toughest in the state with Apopka and West Orange. He is legit!3 points

I just did a google, YouTube, etc search for Jason Taylor UA highlights. I couldn't find any. It would be really smart to get some out there real quick.2 points

Playing UAPB's, Hiram's, and Coppin State's of the world certainly helps too. All they need to really get up for is ~3 games a year. OU, Kent, and whatever Marshall-esque type they bring in in OOC.2 points

You're right. I don't want to downplay some of those home win streaks too much. It's impressive to string so many long runs together. But we certainly have plenty of games that help pad those numbers along the way, and make all of this possible. I think it's also important to note that we're certainly not the only one who does it. By a long shot.1 point

Beacon: Bobcats snap Zips' 12-game winning streak “We just had a rough night,” Dambrot said. “Shot selection in the first half wasn’t very good, but we got a lot of open shots in the second half. We just didn’t make them.” Games like this happen. Whatcha gonna do. Simmons led all scorers with 38 points on 10-of-16 shooting. A 29 percent 3-point shooter coming into the game, he was perfect from behind the arc, connecting on 5-of-5. A fluke. Again, it happens. Whatcha gonna do. Oh well.1 point

Don't sweat the trolls. At the end of the day, the Zips played their worst game of the season against a team that played their best game of the season and was benefited by outrageous officiating and they nearly pulled it off. While we're worried about the Zips losing their chance to be ranked, they're excited that the win may qualify them for the CIT.1 point

More Track and field....since men and women B-ball were on the road, went to the Akron Invitational, and although it was probably the weakest field in years (SPIRE in Geneva OH has a DI invite the following week that has diluted Akron's draw) it was still fun. Clayton Murphy introduced before the meet, and world record holder woman pole vaulter was there. Terrell McClain was banged up and didn't compete, but Jordan Latimore took the Long Jump with an equally solid jump. Natalie Zidd won 800 for second straight year, and Daziah Green impressed with double wins in 60 and 200 dashes. Coach Mitchell has his female Shawn Barber now, Lucy Bryan, a freshman from England, who is a physical specimen, and that's not a sexial comment. Men and women still need distance runners though. Anyway, thought I'd share....1 point

That stunk. It was fun to talk about running the table but odds were we'd lose one or two. The good thing is we see what it takes to beat us - a career game from Simmons and the two worst games of the season from Dog and Kwan. Not worried one bit1 point

Just a guess, but I think B&G's comment was probably more of a commentary on Aaron Jackson than it was on Daniel Utomi.1 point
