  1. This is the winning quote of the day. Please, no more RPI comparisons and no more break downs of how a 24-7 Zips team that didn't win the MAC Tourney can get an at large bid due to their 48 RPI. RPI was never a real factor in the selection process unless it was used to keep a mid major out or let an 18-14 P5 team into the dance.

  2. All good points. Play this same match come November, and Zips win going away. On to Wolfpack and all those ACC RPI points.

  4. It is pretty much best case scenario for us. We have a solid secondary and it seems a very much improving LD/DE corps. Where we have trouble stacking up against P5 teams is size and that means our run game and their run game. It will be interesting to see our RBs can get any space, especially in the first half. Kato will have a chance to prove he can let the game come to him instead of forcing the action against Nebraska. Let's hope his 2017 experience taught him a few things...and that Lavar can keep out of the picture.

  5. No panic here with this team. Of the 11 starters who played in the national semi-final only two started last night. Cohesion, chemistry, anticipation and comfort were not what they will be by mid-season. Jared has a great team to work with and is building it the right way. The Zips will be where we want them by the end of the season. Remember Butler returned 8 of last season's sweet sixteen starters plus one 2017 starter who was injured at mi-season. We played well against them and at times dominated. Nice job boys. kick NCSU's ass.

  6. Please keep in mind that Cykron loved Custer's chances at the Little Big Horn and the 7th Calvary wasn't a 23.5 point dog.

  7. Can we place bets on when Keith Dambrot first complains about the unfairness of NET?

  8. Last I heard, Kyle was the #2 QB for Buffalo. Almost all of the news reporting talks exclusively about Jackson throwing to Johnson (with vague references about "if Jackson can stay healthy"), but nothing about backups.

  9. This will definitely help the Zips get that at large bid
